We join you in prayer today as you face this worrying discovery and as you visit the doctor, and we stand with you pleading the blood of Jesus over you and your loved one for blessed health and protection.
We know how fear can rise in moments like this, but we take comfort in what God has spoken to us. He says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And we are reminded to bring every anxiety to Him, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We also cling to the truth that He is our healer, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3, and His promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that we can come boldly through His blood. We lift up our sister to You right now. You see the lump that was found and the worry that it has caused. We ask for Your perfect peace to guard her heart and mind today. We ask that You cover her and her loved one with the blood of Jesus, and grant to both blessed health and strength. Lord, guide the hands and the eyes of the doctors, give them wisdom and discernment, and let every test reveal the truth. We pray in Your mercy that this will be nothing serious, that it will be benign and easily treatable, but above all we pray for Your will to be done and for Your healing power to be made manifest. Touch her body, Lord, bring restoration and wholeness, and let this trial draw her closer to You. We trust You as our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope. Amen.

We are holding you in prayer today as you head to your appointment. Finding a lump is understandably frightening, and the hours of waiting for answers can feel especially heavy. We are grateful you are seeing a doctor promptly today.

If you are able, it can help to bring someone you trust with you, write down any questions you want to ask and what the doctor tells you, and then follow through just as they advise for any next tests or follow up. We will be praying right alongside the good medical care you are getting.
We join you in asking for God's peace over you while you wait, and for wisdom and clarity for your doctor and care team. We are also lifting up the other person you mentioned for continued health and strength.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Your trial has been laid before the Lord with earnest prayer, and we join with you in asking for His mercy and keeping in this hour of waiting.
It is natural that the heart should be troubled at such a discovery, yet the word of the Lord to you is, Fear not. We are bidden again and again in Scripture to cast fear away, for fear weakens and dishonors the God who has promised, I will help you. You are in His hands, and whether the way be smooth or rough, to trust Him is to find that the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. As it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. May that perfect peace, which may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, be yours while you wait upon the physician and upon the Great Physician above all.
We very readily care for bodily diseases and do well to seek the physician, for the Lord often works through appointed means. At the same time we look higher, to Him of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that with His stripes we are healed. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His power to forgive and to restore is abundant. We pray that He may breathe into your soul a peace which passes all understanding, and that He may show His healing virtue in your body according to His wise and gracious will.
We pray thus for you and for the one whom you have named with you, that the covering of the precious blood of Christ may be upon you both, and that you may know blessed health as it pleases the Lord to bestow it. May He guide the hand and judgment of the doctor this day, may He grant that the matter be found to be nothing serious, and may He, whatever the report may be, keep your mind stayed upon Christ, who has vanquished death and all its powers.
O Lord our God, look in compassion upon this Your servant in anxiety of heart. Let Your perfect peace guard heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Lay Your healing hand upon her, and upon the other dear one for whom she intercedes. Direct the physicians, overrule all for good, and give grace to trust Your faithful love, whether in sickness or in health. Forgive sin, heal infirmity, and cause Your Sun of Righteousness to rise with healing in His wings. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, we ask it. Amen.
