We hear your request for a lump sum of money and we join together with you in prayer to bring this desire before our Father in heaven in the name of Jesus.
We understand the pressure that financial needs can bring, and we want to remind you that our God is a provider who cares for His children. His word says in Phil 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Jesus taught us in Matt 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Our first calling is not to seek money itself, but to seek Him, trusting that He will provide what we truly need in His perfect timing.
We also want to lovingly correct and encourage you regarding the heart behind this request. Scripture warns us in 1 Tim 6:10, For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. And in Heb 13:5 we are told, Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in no way forsake you. If this desire for a lump sum comes from a hope for quick or easy gain, such as through gambling, lottery, or dishonest means, we urge you to turn away from that path. Prov 13:11 says, Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by labor will increase. God honors diligent work, faithful stewardship, and contentment, and He desires that we be trustworthy managers of whatever He entrusts to us.

Your request for a lump sum of money has been heard and has been carried before the throne of grace, where we have such an High Priest who is set on the right hand of the Majesty in the heavens.
We understand the pressure that makes a soul cry out for provision in a single sum, and the heaviness that comes when needs press close and resources seem slender. At first sight the provision which God appoints may appear to be inadequate to the purpose, as though what He supplies could not meet the lamp that needs oil, yet the Lord has His own way of sustaining His people, and His supply never fails though it may not come in the form we have pictured.
Scripture does not teach us to set our hope upon a sudden store of riches, but to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all these things shall be added as our Father sees fit. He who is the Sum and Substance of all truth, the very Soul of life, is Himself our portion, and where we have Christ we have the true riches which can never be exhausted. The splendor of streets of gold is nothing compared to having the Lamb Himself to be our light and our treasure.
Let us pray for you now.
O Lord our God, Thou knowest the need of this Thy servant and the burden that has prompted this cry. Thou art Jehovah Jireh, the God who seeth and provideth. We ask not for abundance to feed covetousness, but for daily bread sufficient for this day, and for wisdom to steward faithfully whatever Thou art pleased to entrust. Grant contentment with such things as we have, diligence in honest labour, and a heart kept from the love of money which is a root of all evil. If it be for Thy glory and for good, open a door of provision according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and if otherwise, grant grace to trust Thee still and to find Thy grace sufficient. Teach this soul to cast all care upon Thee, to walk in uprightness, and to know that godliness with contentment is great gain. Make Christ Himself to be the sum of all desire, that having Him, no good thing shall be lacking in the end.
We commend you to the care of that Lamb of God who was provided for the house, trusting His grace for you and for all your household. May the Lord give you peace in waiting, wisdom in asking, and faith to rest in His perfect will, for His name's sake. Amen.
