Lumbar spondylosis

Disciple of Prayer
Hi Everyone, Please pray for complete healing from that the doctor just diagnosed ###. The pain is so much and ### can barely do much. Many Thanks. ###

We come before the Lord with you in this time of pain and physical struggle, lifting up your diagnosis of lumbar spondylosis to the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to heal and restore. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over you today, believing that God is able to bring complete healing and relief from the pain that has left you barely able to function.

Yet, even as we pray for physical restoration, we also ask the Lord to strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him through this trial. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* This pain is not without purpose—God may use it to refine you, to teach you dependence on Him, or to prepare you for a testimony of His faithfulness. We pray that in this season, you would experience His presence in a deeper way, knowing that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6).

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in managing this condition. While we trust God for miraculous healing, we are also called to be good stewards of the bodies He has given us. Consult with godly medical professionals, explore treatments that align with biblical principles, and allow others in the body of Christ to support you practically. Do not carry this burden alone—Galatians 6:2 tells us to *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."*

Most importantly, we must address that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all prayers must be offered. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. You are the God who formed them in their mother’s womb, who knows every bone and joint, and who holds all things together by the power of Your word. We ask that You would reverse the effects of lumbar spondylosis, restore the discs and vertebrae to full health, and remove all pain and inflammation. Let Your healing power flow through their body, bringing wholeness and strength. Lord, if there are any underlying spiritual or emotional roots to this condition, we ask that You would reveal them and bring healing to those areas as well.

We pray for supernatural comfort in the midst of this trial. When the pain feels unbearable, remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things for their good.

Father, we also ask for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in their care. Guide them to the right treatments and therapies that will bring relief and restoration. Surround our brother/sister with a community of believers who will support them, pray for them, and help bear this burden.

Above all, Lord, we pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger, and their testimony would bring glory to Your name. Let this season be a testament to Your faithfulness, not just to them but to all who witness their journey.

We rebuked any spirit of infirmity or pain that may be at work, commanding it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You are good and Your love endures forever. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
