Beloved of All
"But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36) "so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:10) Father ask we, our families, loved ones, be alert, walking in a manner worthy of You, pleasing in Your sight, bearing fruit and increasing in knowledge of You. Lord please draw all unsaved to the foot of the cross for the gift of forgiveness, making You Lord of their lives. May we not miss out on rapture, may we live in accordance to Your will in Jesus Name Amen.

God's Calls and Man's Calamities
God calls each person to turn from sin, and it demands an immediate and willing response to avoid eternal ruin.
We join with you in this earnest prayer for watchfulness and a worthy walk before the Lord and we say amen to your desire for your families and loved ones to be found ready when He comes.

You have prayed according to the heart of Scripture. Jesus Himself exhorted us in Luke 21:36, Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man. And Paul prayed for the believers in Col 1:10, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. These two verses together show us both the urgency to stay alert and the manner of life that alertness produces, a life that seeks to please Him in all respects and bears fruit.

We are encouraged by your burden for the unsaved, that they would be drawn to the foot of the cross for the gift of forgiveness and make Jesus Lord of their lives. This is the very heart of the Father, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. We too long to see many come to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name we pray.

We also hear your longing not to miss what you call the rapture, but to live according to His will and to stand before the Son of Man. Scripture comforts us with this blessed hope, looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, Titus 2:13, and For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever, 1 Thess 4:16-17. To be ready is to be watching, sober, and abiding in Him daily. Therefore let's not sleep, as the rest do, but let's watch and be sober, 1 Thess 5:6.

We pray together now for you and all those you love.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You would keep us alert at all times, watchful and prayerful, not entangled by the cares of this life or dulled by sin, but awake to Your Word and Your Spirit. Grant us grace to walk in a manner worthy of You, to please You in all respects, to bear fruit in every good work and to increase in the knowledge of You day by day. Cause us to grow in holiness, in love, in obedience, and in understanding of Your will. We lift up every unsaved loved one and every soul who has not yet believed, draw them by Your Holy Spirit to the cross, open their eyes to see their need for forgiveness, grant them repentance and faith to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead. Save them, Lord, and make them new creations in Christ. Keep us and our households abiding in Christ, ready and without shame at His appearing, that we may be counted worthy by Your grace to escape the things to come and to stand with joy before the Son of Man. Help us to live today in accordance with Your will, faithful in small things, bearing witness to Your truth, until You call us home. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We appreciated your prayer for alertness and for walking in a way that pleases the Lord. It is a beautiful desire to want that for yourself, your family and loved ones, and to carry a burden for those who do not yet know Him.

Wanting to stay alert and bear fruit every day can feel heavy if we think of it as trying harder in our own strength. We have found it helps to think of it more like training for a long race. Small, steady faithfulness over time matters more than intensity in a moment. A brief time in prayer, a few verses with an open heart, a quiet choice to love someone well today, all of these add up as God forms us. We remain works in progress, and He is patient as we grow in knowing Him.

We join you in praying for your family and for those you love who are still far from Christ, that the Lord would draw them gently to Himself. And we join you in asking for grace to live faithfully today, trusting God with tomorrow.

Father, we bring this brother or sister, their family and loved ones before You. Keep them watchful and rooted in You, shape their steps to please You and bear fruit that lasts. Draw those who do not yet know You to the cross and to forgiveness in Christ. Give strength for today and hope as we wait for You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer breathes the very spirit which our Lord enjoins when He says, stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of Man. It is well that you desire not only to escape but to stand, and to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

The lesson of such watchfulness is that the eyes of the saints are fixed upon their God, as the eyes of a servant are fixed upon his master. To be so sanctified that you always fix your eyes upon God is an eminent degree of grace, and worthy to be beheld. I pray that you and your household may so walk in Christ as your very element, not coming to Him and going away from Him by turns, but abiding in Him, proceeding from grace to grace, running forward until you reach the uttermost limit of knowledge that man can have concerning our Beloved. For to walk in Him implies action. Let not your reception of Christ be a mere thing of thought for the chamber and the closet, but act upon it all, that you may bear fruit and be found pleasing in His sight.

For those among your families and loved ones who are yet unsaved, there is but one way of salvation, and it is plain and free. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him, but to trust in Him, to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. It is not to believe about Him, but to believe on Him, to depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation, to leave the whole matter of your soul in His hands in unquestioning confidence. This salvation is without money and without price, and it is common to all who believe, for Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Oh, do not die unsaved. I beseech you, do not attempt to enter the eternal world without a Savior. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, trust yourself with Him, and you shall be saved, and your house.

Therefore I join my prayer with yours before the throne of grace. May the God of infinite patience, who has borne with us beyond all measure, keep you alert and prayerful, rooted and built up in Christ. May He draw every unsaved soul you love to the foot of the cross for the gift of forgiveness, making Jesus Lord of their lives, that you may be a rejoicing family because you are a renewed family, and that you may be counted worthy to stand before the Son of Man at His coming. May He keep you from coldness and slumber, and cause you to walk in Him, bearing fruit, growing in knowledge, and living in accordance with His will, till He comes to take His own. This I ask in the precious name of Jesus, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
