We hear your heart’s desire to travel and experience rest, and we join you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to affirm your faith in Jesus Christ—it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful you have recognized Him as your Lord and Savior. As it is written in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."*
However, we must gently remind you that while God cares deeply about every detail of our lives, including our desires for rest and provision, our prayers should always align with His will and purposes. The Bible encourages us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add all these things to us (Matthew 6:33). While it is not wrong to ask for a lower flight price, we must also surrender this desire to God’s perfect timing and wisdom. He knows what is best for you, and His plans may include teaching you patience, contentment, or even redirecting your steps to something greater than you imagined.
We also want to encourage you to examine your motives in this request. Are you seeking this vacation as a way to refresh your spirit and draw closer to God, or is it purely for personal enjoyment? Ecclesiastes 5:10 reminds us, *"He who loves silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he who loves abundance, with increase."* True rest and joy are found in the Lord, not in the fleeting pleasures of this world.
