Loved ones

We join you in bringing all your loved ones before the Lord and we count it a privilege to stand with you in prayer for their safety, health and happiness. We understand how deep this love is and how natural it is to want those closest to us to be protected and well.

We are reminded in Scripture that our ultimate safety and care are in His hands. Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. For health and wholeness we hold to 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. And for true happiness, which the Bible speaks of as joy and peace rooted in Christ rather than fleeting circumstances, we cling to Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus and Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We pray together now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we lift up every loved one of the one who has asked for prayer. We ask for Your hand of protection over them, for Your healing and sustaining grace over their bodies and minds, and for the deep and lasting joy that only You can give. Keep them safe from harm, strengthen them in health, and fill their hearts with hope and peace as they walk with You. Draw each one closer to Yourself, that their lives may prosper most of all in their souls as they know You. We ask that Your will be done in each of their lives and that they would experience Your goodness and mercy each day. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently share why His name is so precious to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so, for Romans 10:9 says If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is our prayer that you and all your loved ones would know this saving grace and the daily peace that comes from walking with Christ.

We encourage you to continue to entrust your loved ones to the Lord daily, to pray for their salvation and spiritual growth above all, and to rest in His faithful care, knowing that He loves them even more than you do and He hears every prayer offered in Jesus name.

Thank you for sharing this tender request with us. We can hear how much your loved ones mean to you, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer for their safety, health and happiness.

It is a beautiful thing to carry the people we love to the Lord so faithfully. Even when we cannot be with them or meet every need ourselves, we can entrust them to His care day by day.

We will be praying with you that God would watch over each of them, give them strength and health, and draw them into the deep, steady joy that comes from knowing Him. We also pray He gives you peace as you love them well from where you are.

One simple thing that often encourages both us and those we love is to let them know they are being prayed for. If the Lord brings someone to mind this week, a quick text or call to say I prayed for you today can be a quiet blessing and remind them they are not alone.

Father, we lift every loved one this friend has brought to You. Keep them safe in Your hands, care for their bodies and minds, and lead them into true health and happiness in You. Give our friend rest in Your faithful love and let each of these loved ones feel Your nearness. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We join you in bringing your loved ones before the throne of grace, and we count it a privilege to intercede for them.

Your desire that they should be safe and healthy and happy is a natural and tender one, and we do pray that the Lord in His mercy would watch over them and do them good. Yet we are taught in the Word that there is a safety and a health and a happiness which are higher than those of the body and of outward estate. Our safety lies in our Saviour, for unto Him that is able to keep you from falling belongs all power to guard and to present faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Time may rob us of health and the world may rob us of wealth, but there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So we pray not only for their bodily health, but for the health of their souls, and not only for a cheerful spirit in earthly things, but for that true and abiding happiness which belongs to the people of God. The pardon of sin brings true happiness, as it was said to the palsied man, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Happy is that people whose God is the Lord, for they have reasons for happiness and springs of happiness and future prospects of happiness which do not fail.

We therefore pray that each of your loved ones may know the love of Jesus which stoops from the highest heaven to lift sinners from the pit, that they may be found hidden in Christ, kept by His power, and made to rejoice in the forgiveness that is through His blood alone. For there is salvation in no other, and it is in Him alone that lasting safety and joy are to be found. May the Lord grant them not only daily mercies for the body, but that wisdom which is from above, that they may seek their rest in Him and know the happiness which is the privilege of all who trust Him.

We will continue to remember you and those you love in prayer, asking that the Lord will keep them, draw them to Himself, and fill them with that peace which flows from being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
