Please pray that Matthew comes back to me. I have not pursued him in any way because I believe that if it is God's intention, then it will happen. However, I strongly believe, in my heart, that God brought him into my life and made the two of us fall in love, so I trust in Him that he will bring him back to me. In the meantime, please pray that it is soon.

Just to inform you that this site has terms that we need to abide with and one of them is not to encourage or pray for a divorcee to remarry.

It is indeed the will of God as you study 1 Corinthians 7 and Mark 10:11-12, with Gospel Luke and Gospel Matthew. The important thing is if we cannot obey the written word, then how can we obey Him when He speaks to us directly? Luke 16:31 and James 1:22-25.
