Beloved of All
To love again. Too hurt and scared for so long. Not romance necessarily, just love, trust, re-linking with humanity after hiding and hurt for long. Jesus Precious Name, amen.

We hear the deep ache in your heart and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord, for the desire to love again and to trust again after long seasons of hurt and hiding is a holy and human longing that God understands fully.

We know how pain can make us withdraw, how fear can build walls to protect a wounded heart. Yet the Lord does not leave us in that hiding place. He gently calls us back into His light and back into fellowship with others. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18.

For so long you have carried hurt and fear, but God's perfect love is stronger than that fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18. We pray that you would experience that perfect love of the Father first, that His love would fill the places where hurt has lived, so that you can again risk opening your heart to others. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.

We also take comfort that nothing can separate us from His love, no past wound, no long season of loneliness. For we are persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.

We pray together for you.

Father, in the precious name of Jesus we lift up this dear heart to You. You see the years of hiding, the deep hurt and the fear that has made trust feel impossible. We ask You to pour Your healing love over every wound, to bind up what has been broken and to restore what has been lost. Help our dear friend to know in a new and real way that You are with them and that Your love never fails. Don't let fear keep them isolated any longer, but lead them gently back into loving connection with others, into the fellowship of Your people where love can be learned and practiced again in safety. Give courage for small steps, wisdom to discern safe and godly community, and grace to love and to receive love again as You have loved us. We thank You that You are restoring health and wholeness, for You have said, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord. Jeremiah 30:17. Let trust be rebuilt day by day as they walk with You. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to let the Lord be your first safe place to trust, and from that security, to slowly re-link with others. Seek fellowship with believers who will walk patiently with you, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another. Hebrews 10:25. It may begin with one conversation, one gathering, one act of kindness given or received. Ask God to show you one person or one small community where you can take a step of love, and let Him rebuild your capacity to love and trust over time. He who began this healing in you will be faithful to complete it.

We hear the ache in what you shared, wanting to love and trust again after so long of hiding to stay safe. It makes sense that it feels scary, and it is a tender and brave thing to name that desire out loud.

Wanting to reconnect with people, not necessarily romance but just human warmth and trust, is a good and human longing. Trust rarely comes back all at once. It tends to return in small, low risk moments, learning over time who is steady and kind, letting yourself be known a little at a time without pressure to share everything.

One gentle step that often helps is choosing one consistent, safe place to simply be present with others. For many that is showing up regularly for worship or a small gathering where you can be among God's people without having to perform or explain your story. Just being there week by week, exchanging a few words, letting familiarity grow, can slowly soften that sense of isolation.

If the hurt still feels heavy, it can also help to talk with a pastor or a trusted mature believer one on one as you take these steps.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the years of hurt and the fear that lingers. Bring comfort and healing, and bring wise, gentle people across their path. Give courage for small steps toward trust and help them feel Your nearness and care each day. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and there is hope in it, for the desire to love again after long hurt is itself a sign that the Lord is at work in the heart.

To have been hurt and scared for so long, to have hidden away from others, is a sore sickness of soul, and the Lord delights to look upon the poor and needy and to come with succor to those who are in distress. He waits to be gracious and is willing to receive you, to forgive you, to bless you and to enrich you with every joy. The invisible Jehovah, whom we cannot see with our eyes nor touch with our hands, is yet the living and true God, and He is worthy of all your trust.

The Scripture says, Fear you not, for I am with you. Fear is a natural disease of our fallen nature, and it weakens and makes unhappy all who cherish it, but the Lord gives a command against it and a promise to overcome it. He says, I am with you to be your succor, and all the attributes of God shall be your treasury. You need not pine away in despair looking again and again at your sin and your wounds, but look to Christ Jesus and be saved. Hear His loving voice of compassion which tells of pardon bought with blood, freely given to all who trust their Savior God.

There is a living union with Christ from which all true love flows. He began to love us with a love that had no beginning and shall know no end, and being united to Him, His life flows into us and we begin to live again. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon you with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are one. Cry from your very soul, God be merciful to me a sinner, and He will hear you. Lift up your heart to Him and cry unto Him out of the depth, and He will heal and deliver.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who heals the broken in heart would restore to you a quiet confidence in Him, and through Him, a renewed trust and love toward others. May He take away the spirit of fear and give you a love that seeks to please others and to make others love Christ, growing into His likeness from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. May He lead you gently out of hiding and knit you again to His people, gathered from east and west and north and south, that you may know you are not alone.

May the living God, who is the same yesterday and today and forever, keep you safe in His promise, Lo, I am with you, and make your soul to overflow with supreme content in Him. In the precious name of Jesus, who is our healing and our peace, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest prayer to love again after being hurt and scared for so long has been heard, and it is a good and holy desire. To want to trust again and to be linked again with others is not a small thing, it is the movement of the heart back toward life after hiding.

For a long time fear has kept you guarded, and that is understandable when you have been wounded. Scripture teaches that nothing dissolves love so quickly as fear and the suspicion that we will be betrayed again. Fear makes the heart shrink and hide. But God has not given to His children a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power and of love. That love toward Him and toward our neighbor comes when He gives us strength not to fear. It is not from our own effort alone, but from His grace when we take our small step toward Him, that He inspires us to cry Abba, Father and to love again.

You can trust Him with this treasure of your heart. We often entrust what we value to places that cannot keep it and then we live with wars and struggles within. The Lord says, give it into My hand. He is more worthy of trust than any other keeper. He does not only keep what you entrust to Him, He repays it with increase, for He loves you exceedingly. If you wish to build again, build in His regions. Place your heart, with all its hurt and its hope, into His hands each day.

Love also grows when we know we are loved and when we make room for others. The apostle pleaded, make room for us in your hearts. Nothing so produces love as for the beloved to know that he is deeply desired and loved. Know first that you are deeply loved by Christ, who laid down His life for His friends, and then let that love make a little room in you for others. You do not need to open your life to everyone at once. Like those early households that became a church by opening their doors with piety and hospitality, you can begin simply, with one faithful fellowship, one trusted believer, one small act of kindness, and let God enlarge your heart step by step.

I pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the precious name of Jesus Christ Your Son through whom alone we are saved, look upon this wounded heart that longs to love and trust again. Take away the spirit of fear and give a spirit of power and love and a sound mind. Heal what has been hurt for so long, quiet the memory of past wounds, and remove suspicion. Teach this heart to hear Your commandments and to know Your love, for to hear You is to love You. Give courage to come out of hiding, to make room for others and to let others make room in return. Link this life again to Your people in healthy and holy fellowship, with wisdom and peace. Keep what is entrusted to You and restore it with Your grace. Let love be rekindled first for You and then for neighbor, day by day. Amen.
