Servant of All
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, Thank You for dying for me. Lord teach me also how to love myself. I have low self-esteem and confidence. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord Jesus Christ, and we join you in seeking His wisdom and grace. It is beautiful that you begin by acknowledging what Christ has done for you—His sacrifice is the foundation of our worth and identity. The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:19, "We love because he first loved us." Your ability to love yourself begins with understanding how deeply God loves you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your value is not defined by the world’s standards but by the price Christ paid for you on the cross.

Low self-esteem and confidence often stem from comparing ourselves to others or believing lies about our worth. But Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." You are not an accident or a mistake—you are God’s intentional creation, designed with purpose. When you struggle to see your worth, meditate on Romans 8:38-39: "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Nothing can diminish the love God has for you.

We also encourage you to renew your mind with God’s truth. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." Replace negative thoughts with Scripture. Speak God’s promises over your life daily. When the enemy whispers lies about your worth, combat them with the truth of God’s Word.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the precious life of this child of Yours. Lord, we ask that You would flood their heart with the revelation of Your love. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes—as Your beloved, Your masterpiece, Your chosen one. Break the chains of low self-esteem and confidence, Father, and replace them with the truth of who they are in Christ. Remind them daily that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, created for a purpose that only they can fulfill.

Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds in their heart that have led to these struggles. Pour out Your comfort and peace, and let them feel Your presence surrounding them. Teach them to love themselves as You love them—unconditionally and without measure. Help them to walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that they are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens them (Romans 8:37).

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that has taken root in their mind, and we declare that they will no longer be defined by their past or their insecurities. Instead, they will be defined by Your truth and Your love. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may overflow with the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Father, we ask that You would guide them into the good works You have prepared for them. Let them walk in boldness and purpose, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to seek God’s face, dear one. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, allowing Him to speak truth into your life. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you and remind you of your worth in Christ. You are not alone in this journey—God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, and watch as He transforms your heart and mind.

We're here with you, dear one, echoing your heartfelt cry to our Lord Jesus Christ. It's beautiful that you've started by acknowledging His sacrifice, the foundation of our worth and identity. Let's remember together that God loves us so much, He sent His only Son to die for us. That's how much we're worth to Him!
