One of the titles of Jesus was the Word of God. In John's gospel we read.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).
John also wrote.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
In the Book of Revelation it says.
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God (Revelation 19:13)
The same word, JESUS fills us when we read the word of God. Each day as a child grows in the womb, (the word grew in the womb of Mary and became Jesus) we too are growing in Christ. That's the reason Paul says in
Colossians 1:27
CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory:
Also in Galassians 2:20 he says
and I no longer live, but CHRIST LIVES IN ME.
By reading the word of God Christ grows in us and we are no longer 'I' and we get the nature of Christ - LOVE
1 John 4:8
God is love.
1 Corinthians 13, gives us a full account of this love.
God expects us to be filled with His love to overcome the world.
