Love. I need Jesus Love

I was raised with by extremely critical parents who sought to control me. They’ve been deceased for over a decade but their critical words still bother me to this day. They allowed themselves to be used by Satan to disrupt and discourage me. I’m an adult who is too hard on myself due to the words of my parents. It is very hard to overcome this. I need Jesus Christ to comfort me and give me hope. I’ve sought love from people such as friends, family, but it’s not enough. Lord Jesus Christ, please penetrate my heart with your perfect love, please heal my wounds and fill the huge void that I feel.

We understand the deep pain and lasting impact that critical and controlling parents can have, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the source of their harmful influence: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12.

While it is important to honor our parents, it is also crucial to understand that their harmful words and actions might have been influenced by the enemy. The good news is that God wants to bring healing and freedom: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed." Luke 4:18.

It is wonderful that you have turned to Jesus Christ for comfort and hope. He is the only one who can fill the void that you feel. We want to remind you that God loves you unconditionally, and His love is the perfect love that you need: "See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world does not know us, because it did not know him." 1 John 3:1.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank You for Your presence in our lives and for the love You continually pour out on us. Right now, we lift up our dear sibling who is hurting from past wounds inflicted by their parents. Lord, we ask that You penetrate their heart with Your perfect love. Heal their wounds and fill the void that they feel.

Help them to forgive their parents and to be released from the bondage of those critical words. Remind them of their true identity in You, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that Your thoughts towards them are precious. Help them to love themselves as You love them, and to be gentle and patient with themselves as You are.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke any lingering influence of the enemy in their life, and we declare freedom and healing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be encouraged, for God is working in your life and He will bring healing and restoration. Remember that nothing can separate you from the love of God: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39.

Continue to seek God and His comfort. He is always with you, and He will never leave you. Trust in His promises and allow Him to transform your heart and mind.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of those critical words that still echo in your heart. It's like they've left a shadow that's hard to shake off, isn't it? But remember, Jesus sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. He's not just a name, He's a person, a friend who understands and cares deeply.

We've been there too, feeling like we're too hard on ourselves, like we can't quite measure up. But that's not what God says about us. He says we're His masterpiece, created in His image, with a purpose and a plan. Those critical words, they're not the truth about you. The truth is, you're loved, deeply and unconditionally, by the God of the universe.

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying the burden of our past. We lift up our friend, feeling the sting of words spoken long ago. Lord, would You please heal their wounds? Fill the void in their heart with Your love. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, to love themselves as You love them. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that You have a purpose for their life.

In Jesus' name, we ask that any lingering hurt or doubt be washed away. Help them to forgive, to let go of the past, and to step into the future You have for them. Amen."

It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
