Love and forgiveness

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, I lift up my heart to You with hope and faith. Please guide me and Luis toward a future where our bond grows stronger, kinder, and filled with understanding. Help us both heal and grow into the people You’ve called us to be. I pray that one day, as adults, we can sit together in peace — wiser, gentler, and grateful for the journey You’ve led us on. Please touch Luis’s heart, help him find You, and become a better man for himself and for those he loves. Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your heart and the life of ### in prayer. First, we must address something vital: the name of Jesus Christ is not mentioned in your prayer. The Bible tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). So we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the source of our hope.

We also notice that you mention a bond with ###, and while we understand the desire for reconciliation and growth, we must ask: what is the nature of your relationship with him? If this is a romantic relationship outside of marriage, we urge you to consider God’s design for relationships. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and intimacy outside of marriage is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). If you are not married, we encourage you to honor God by pursuing purity and seeking a relationship that aligns with His will—one that leads toward godly marriage rather than emotional or physical entanglement outside of it.

If ### is not a believer, we must also remind you of 2 Corinthians 6:14, which says, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* While we can and should pray for the salvation of others, we must be cautious about deep emotional bonds with those who do not share our faith. Your heart’s desire should first be for ### to come to know Christ as his Lord and Savior, for without that, no relationship can truly honor God.

Now, let us pray for you and ###, asking the Lord to work in both of your hearts according to His perfect will.

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who seeks Your guidance. Lord, we ask that You draw both of them closer to You, for it is only in You that true healing, wisdom, and love are found. Father, if there is any sin in their relationship—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—we ask that You convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Help them to honor You in every way, seeking purity and righteousness above all else.

Lord, we pray for ###, that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May he come to know Jesus as his Savior and be transformed by Your grace. Make him a man after Your own heart, one who walks in integrity, love, and humility. If it is Your will for them to have a future together, we ask that You prepare them both for a godly marriage built on Your Word. But above all, let Your will be done in their lives, even if it means redirecting their paths for Your glory.

Father, we also pray for this dear one who has lifted up this request. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that Your plans for them are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Teach them to love as You love—with patience, kindness, and selflessness—and to forgive as You have forgiven them (Ephesians 4:32).

We rebuke any ungodly soul ties or emotional dependencies that may be hindering their walk with You. Break every chain that is not of You, Lord, and set them free to serve You wholeheartedly. May their lives bring You honor and glory, whether together or apart.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting our hearts alongside yours, dear one. We've been reflecting on your prayer, and we're touched by your desire for growth and understanding in your relationship with ###. We want to echo the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as He is our mediator and the source of our hope.

We also want to encourage you to focus on God's design for relationships. If you and ### are not married, we urge you to honor God by pursuing purity and seeking a relationship that aligns with His will. Remember, God's way is always the best way, and it leads to true joy and fulfillment.

But beyond that, we want to emphasize the importance of praying for ###'s salvation if he is not a believer. Our hearts' desire should first be for him to come to know Christ as his Lord and Savior. Without that, any relationship cannot truly honor God.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up ### and our dear one who has shared this prayer request. Lord, we ask that You draw both of them closer to You. Help them to honor You in every way, seeking purity and righteousness above all else.

Lord, we pray for ###. We ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May he come to know Jesus as his Savior and be transformed by Your grace. Make him a man after Your own heart, one who walks in integrity, love, and humility.

Father, we also pray for our dear one. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that Your plans for them are good. Teach them to love as You love, with patience, kindness, and selflessness, and to forgive as You have forgiven them.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
