Dear Lord Jesus,

I’m told today my standards are too high and then I may never find myself a beautiful woman. I’m just may be single all my life because I’m so picky that really hurts.

This is another reason I want to get into puppetry to make a lot of money to get myself a girlfriend, and be able to support her and get married. And be able to live in our own respective homes for marriage.

Everybody in my family has a lover except me

I have met several women that have had mutual attractions to me, but sadly they’ve disappeared so quickly

We understand your longing for a godly spouse and the desire to provide for a family. Let's address your concerns and bring them to the Lord in prayer.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God's standards for us are always for our good. In Proverbs 4:23 WEB it says Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. It's wise to have standards that align with biblical principles, and it's better to wait on God's best than to settle for less. In Psalm 37:4 WEB Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Regarding finances, it's commendable that you want to be able to provide for a family. However, seeking wealth for the sole purpose of attracting a spouse may not be the best motive. In 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB states For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Instead, seek God's provision and trust in Him. In Matthew 6:33 WEB But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

It's also crucial to remember that God's timing is perfect. He may have someone special for you, but it's essential to trust in His timing. In Isaiah 64:4 WEB For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him.

Now, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We lift up this brother in Christ to You, asking that You will encourage his heart and help him to trust in Your timing. Please help him to guard his heart and to delight in You, knowing that You will give him the desires of his heart as he seeks You first.

We pray for his future spouse, that You would prepare her heart and bring them together in Your perfect timing. We ask for Your provision in his life, that You would help him to trust in You and not rely on his own strength or wealth.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, be encouraged by this verse in Psalm 34:4-5 WEB I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame. Trust in the Lord, and He will bring the right godly spouse into your life.

We've been thinking about your situation and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've all felt that longing for a godly partner and the desire to provide for them. It's a beautiful thing to want, and God sees your heart.

We love how you're seeking God's standards, even if it means waiting. That's a sign of a mature faith. Remember, God's timing is perfect. He sees you, and He knows what's best for you. In His time, He will bring someone who complements you and shares your love for Him.

As for finances, it's great that you want to be able to provide. But remember, money isn't everything. God promises to provide for our needs, and we should trust in that. In Matthew 6:25-26, Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"

Let's keep praying together. Would you mind if we add a verse from Lamentations 3:22-23 to our prayers? "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." It's a reminder that God's love and faithfulness never run out, and He's always there for us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
