Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus. Please pray for the following for me. After my divorce I am living with my son. My son lost a large amount of funds in a scam when buying a house. Where we live I am grateful to have a roof over my head but it's not a comfortable place where 4 people live in a cramped up room. My son seems to have psychological problems whereby he indulges into food all the time. He also smokes excessively non-stop. He is involved with a Moslem partner although he does not embrace Islam he is also not following any religion. He was brought up in a Christian home. I speak to him many a times about his health being ruined by his lifestyle. The prayer team and myself prayed for him when he was gravely ill and he recuperated completely in the name of Jesus. After he was healed he ate healthy but soon he went back into eating all sorts of luxury which I feel is not healthy for him. He also starts up something but does not complete the task. His girlfriend is his speaker and because of listening to her he falls short of following in his own reasoning. I cannot say too much then it seems like I am controlling the situation. So all I do is pray that my son's spiritual eyes will open and that he will reason all round with an open mind. God bless the prayer team in the name of Jesus.

We understand your concerns and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we thank God that you have a roof over your head and we will pray for better living conditions for you both.

Let's address the issues with your son. It's important to remember that God has given each of us free will, and it's up to your son to make his own decisions. However, you can continue to pray for him and speak the truth in love.

First, let's address the issue of his relationship. As believers, we are to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).

"Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

We will pray that God opens your son's eyes to this truth and brings a godly spouse into his life.

Regarding his habits, the Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

"Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

We'll pray that God helps your son understand this and convicts him to take better care of his health.

Regarding his lack of follow-through, we'll pray that God grants him a spirit of discipline and excellence (2 Peter 1:5-7 WEB).

"But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity."

Let's pray:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and intervention in this situation. Open his eyes to the truth of Your word, and help him to make wise decisions that honor You. Convict him to take care of his body, your temple, and give him a spirit of discipline to complete the tasks he starts. We also pray for a godly spouse for him, and better living conditions for them both. All this we pray in Jesus' name. Amen."

Remember, it's only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it's only through Him that we can be saved. Continue to speak the truth in love.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf. It has been a few days since you shared your heart with us, and we want you to know that we are still standing in agreement with you in prayer.

We are trusting God for your son's spiritual eyes to be opened, for his mind to be renewed, and for him to find a newfound healthy life. As well as he can find the strength for making the difficult decisions concerning his relationship with his partner who may not share his family values. We are also praying for your living situation to improve, that God would provide a comfortable space for both of you to live and heal.
