Lost

Beloved of All
I feel lost at times meaning I’m not sure about major decisions. The smaller everyday decisions are easy. I’ve struggled with being yelled at and have dealt with controlling and manipulative people including close family members. I’m asking the Lord in Jesus name to break the chains of indecisiveness, lack of self-esteem, and feelings of worthlessness. I am an adult only child whose parents are deceased. Some of the people that I trusted turned out to be monsters behind closed doors and now have spread lies that I was the aggressor. No one believes that those people are capable of “doing such things.” Father, this is your daughter who did not have a solid earthly father figure. Mother was emotionally abusive and very cold. I have so many chains and I ask that you please carry me. I understand that this prayer request board does not answer prayers, but YOU do. I do appreciate that the administrators are here to pray with and for all who ask for it. Glad to have such a great community of believers we can uplift each other in Jesus name.

We hear the deep cry of your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, who is your true Father, Redeemer, and Deliverer. Your pain is not unseen by Him, and we rejoice that you have brought your burdens before the Lord, for He alone is your refuge and strength. You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Your faith in turning to Him is a testament to the work He is already doing in your life, even amid the storms you face.

The wounds you carry—from the betrayal of those you trusted, the manipulation and control of others, the emotional abuse from your mother, and the absence of a godly father—are deep and real. But we declare over you the truth of God’s Word: *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). The Lord is close to you, gathering your tears in His bottle and recording your sorrows in His book (Psalm 56:8). He sees the lies spoken against you, the injustice you’ve endured, and the loneliness of being misunderstood. Take heart, for *"Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19). You do not need to defend yourself, for the Lord is your defender, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.

Your struggle with indecisiveness, low self-esteem, and feelings of worthlessness are not your identity in Christ. These are chains the enemy has tried to place upon you, but Jesus has already triumphed over them! *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not defined by the sins of others against you or by the lies they have spoken. You are defined by what God says about you: *"You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"* (1 Peter 2:9). You are *His* daughter, deeply loved, fiercely protected, and eternally valued. The lack of earthly love you experienced does not diminish the perfect, unconditional love the Father has for you. *"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"* (1 John 3:1).

As for the major decisions weighing on you, we encourage you to seek the Lord first in all things. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Indecisiveness often stems from fear—fear of making the wrong choice, fear of repeating past mistakes, or fear of being controlled again. But perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and the Lord is faithful to lead you as you surrender to Him. Spend time in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Fast and pray when decisions feel overwhelming, asking the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth (John 16:13). And surround yourself with wise, godly counsel—trusted believers who can speak truth into your life and help you discern the Lord’s will.

We must also address the loneliness you may feel as an only child with deceased parents. While earthly family may have failed you, you have been grafted into the family of God, where you have brothers and sisters in Christ who are called to love you, support you, and walk alongside you (Romans 12:5). Seek out a biblical, Christ-centered church where you can be known, discipled, and encouraged. The body of Christ is meant to be a place of healing and belonging, and the Lord will provide the godly relationships you need.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not found in the opinions of others, your past, or even your own feelings. It is found in Christ alone. *"For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20). Jesus paid the ultimate price for you—His very life—because you are worth it to Him. Let that truth sink deep into your soul.

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your precious daughter, who has carried such heavy burdens for far too long. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of indecisiveness, fear, worthlessness, and low self-esteem in the mighty name of Jesus. You are the God who sets the captives free, and we declare freedom over her mind, heart, and spirit today. Father, heal the deep wounds caused by manipulation, betrayal, and emotional abuse. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and replace her ashes with beauty, her mourning with joy, and her despair with praise (Isaiah 61:3).

Lord, we ask that You would be her perfect Father—the Father she never had on earth. Show her Your heart for her in tangible ways. Speak to her in the quiet moments, reassure her through Your Word, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke every lie the enemy has whispered to her—that she is unlovable, unworthy, or incapable. Replace those lies with Your truth: that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen, and deeply loved by You.

We pray for wisdom and clarity as she faces major decisions. Holy Spirit, guide her steps and give her discernment. Help her to trust You fully, knowing that You hold her future and that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, bring godly, trustworthy people into her life—people who will reflect Your love and speak life into her.

Father, we ask for justice where there has been injustice. You see the lies spoken against her, and we trust You to vindicate her in Your timing. Let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season she will reap a harvest if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Finally, Lord, fill her with Your peace and joy. Let her know, beyond any doubt, that she is not alone—that You are with her always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen her to forgive those who have wronged her, not for their sake, but for her own freedom. Help her to release the pain of the past into Your hands and to walk forward in the victory You have already won for her.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect love for Your daughter. May she rise up in the strength You provide, clothed in Your righteousness, and walking in the confidence of her identity in Christ. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to hold fast to these truths and to continue seeking the Lord daily. He is your Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul (Psalm 23:2-3). You are not lost to Him—you are found in Him. Keep pressing into His presence, and watch as He transforms your pain into purpose and your struggles into strength. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete breakthrough in Jesus’ name.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you before the Father in prayer these past few days. Your heartfelt cry has deeply moved us, and we have been earnestly interceding for you—praying that the Lord would break every chain of indecisiveness, restore your sense of worth in Christ, and surround you with His perfect peace as you seek His will for your life. We know the weight of feeling alone in this battle, especially when those who should have been a refuge instead became sources of pain, but we serve a God who sees what is hidden, who defends the fatherless, and who redeems what the enemy meant for harm.

We have been praying specifically that the Lord would be your ever-present Father—the One who speaks truth over you when lies have been spoken against you, who heals the wounds left by manipulation and betrayal, and who guides your steps when the path feels unclear. You are not lost to Him. Even when earthly voices have failed you, His voice is steady, calling you *beloved*, *chosen*, and *more than a conqueror* through Christ.

If the Lord has begun to move in your heart or circumstances—whether through a renewed sense of His presence, a breakthrough in decision-making, or even small moments of clarity—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting Him. And if this season still feels heavy, if the chains still feel tight, we want you to know you are not abandoned. Post your request again, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that the God who started this good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

We are also praying for the Lord to bring godly, trustworthy people into your life—those who will reflect His love and speak life over you. You were never meant to walk this journey alone, and we are honored to be part of the body of Christ lifting you up.

May you sense His nearness in fresh ways as you seek Him. He is not distant from your pain; He is close to the brokenhearted, and He is fighting for you even now. We will keep praying. In Jesus’ name.
