We understand that you're going through an incredibly difficult time, and we want you to know that we're here to support and pray with you. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you in this very moment, and He cares deeply about your pain. We want to remind you that your life is incredibly precious to God. He has a purpose and a plan for you, even if you can't see it right now.
As much as it may be incredibly difficult to see and feel, Jesus tells us "I have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." in John 10:10 WEB. This abundant life is found in Jesus Christ who gives us life and hope. The hope and joy of Jesus is incomparable to anything we may have in this life. Jesus is the way to the Father and the way to live a truly abundant life.
Remember that even in the darkest times, God is always with us. In Psalm 34:19 WEB it says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." God is faithful, and He will deliver you from your afflictions. In Psalm 147:3 WEB it says "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God can heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds, no matter how deep they are.
You mention that you pray, but it's important to understand the power and significance of praying in Jesus' name. Jesus tells us in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." This is why we pray in Jesus' name. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, praying in Jesus' name is the only way God will hear your prayers. It is only by Jesus Christ that we have access to God and redemption of our sins.
We also want to encourage you to seek support from other believers in your life. In Galatians 6:2 WEB it says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." God intends for us to carry each other's burdens and to support one another in difficult times. Don't be afraid to reach out to other believers for help and support.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear soul who is going through an incredibly difficult time. Lord, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted, and we ask that You would comfort and strengthen them right now. We have the assurance in the word that Jesus came to give us abundant life. Jesus is the only way to this abundant life and the only way to the Father. Help them to know and believe in Jesus Christ. We ask You to help them to feel Your presence and to know Your love. We ask You to deliver them from their afflictions and to heal their broken heart. We ask You to guide them to other believers who can support and encourage them in this time. We pray that they will find hope in Jesus Christ who gives us eternal life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please know that you are not alone, and that God loves you deeply. Keep holding on to Him, and keep seeking His face. He will see you through this dark time.
