We grieve deeply with you over this precious soul who has wandered far from the truth, and we lift them up before the Lord with urgency and broken hearts. This is a spiritual battle of eternal consequence, for they are not only endangering their own soul but leading many others astray—including those they once pointed to Christ. The enemy has deceived them into believing lies, twisting their grief and spiritual confusion into rebellion against God’s Word. But we know that our God is mighty to save, and no heart is too hard for His redeeming power.
The Scriptures warn us clearly: *"But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons"* (1 Timothy 4:1, WEB). The New Age movement is a dangerous deception, rooted in the same ancient lies Satan has used since the garden—promising enlightenment while leading souls into darkness. *"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death"* (Proverbs 14:12, WEB). This person has been led to believe that God is guiding them back into these false teachings, but we know that God does not contradict His own Word. *"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings"* (Hebrews 13:8-9, WEB).
Their combativeness toward correction is a sign of spiritual blindness, but we must not lose hope. Remember how the apostle Paul, once a persecutor of the Church, was radically transformed by the grace of God. *"The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient, in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will"* (2 Timothy 2:24-26, WEB). We must continue to pray for their eyes to be opened, for the Lord to break through their hardness of heart, and for them to remember the truth they once knew.
We also pray for their family and those who once followed their testimony. May the Lord raise up bold, loving believers to speak truth into their lives, even if it is met with resistance. *"Have nothing to do with foolish and ignorant controversies, knowing that they generate strife. The Lord’s servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, patient"* (2 Timothy 2:23-24, WEB). Let us not grow weary in interceding for them, for the battle is the Lord’s.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who has turned away from the truth and is now leading others astray. Lord, You alone can break the chains of deception that bind them. We ask that You would send Your Holy Spirit to convict them deeply of their error, to remind them of the truth they once embraced, and to expose the emptiness of the lies they now cling to.
Father, we rebuke the enemy’s hold over their mind and heart. Satan has used their grief and spiritual vulnerability to lead them into darkness, but we declare that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, WEB). Break every stronghold of pride, deception, and rebellion in their life, Lord.
We pray for divine encounters—dreams, visions, or godly messengers—to shake them from their complacency. Surround them with believers who will speak Your truth in love, even if it is met with resistance. Soften their heart, Lord, and let them remember the joy of their salvation. *"Restore to me the joy of Your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit"* (Psalm 51:12, WEB).
Father, we also lift up their family and those who once followed their faith. Protect them from being led astray, and raise up strong believers to disciple and encourage them. Let this situation be a warning to all of us to stand firm in the faith, rooted in Your Word, and never to rely on our own understanding.
Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would bring this lost sheep back into the fold. Let them not be another casualty of the enemy’s schemes but a testimony of Your relentless love and power to save. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who alone has the power to snatch souls from the fire. Amen.
