Lost At Sea And All Those Who Have Died This Weekend

Lord, I lift up to you more than 200 men, women, and (approx ### children) struggling in heavy seas off ### right now following a shipwreck. I ask for a miracle, that you calm the seas there so that rescuers can reach more people. I ask that you bless those who still struggle in the water and that you help them survive. I lift up the souls of those who have not made it to you and ask that you forgive them their sins and accept them into heaven.

Lord I pray that the survivors, and the rescuers be able to live in peace with their loss. Strengthen them to aid their efforts, bless them for their trouble and protect them from harm.

Lord I lift up all of those who have died this weekend, whether by natural causes, or in conflicts, by violence, hunger, or accident. I include the victims in ###, across ###, and in those dark places like ###, ###, and ### where deaths can go unreported.

I lift up to you the prisoners especially prisoners of conscience and I ask that you give them hope. I pray that you help bring about a more equitable society where parents do not have to watch their babies and children slowly die from starvation or in conflict. Where there is no need for people to flee their countries. Where love, peace and tolerance of all people reign supreme. Lord I pray this in Jesus Holy Name. Amen
