Beloved of All
I would like prayers for my daughter and myself. She has lost her vision in her left eye and doesn’t know why it happened to her. She’s becoming very negative. I talk to her about her blessings and that fact that this is not our permanent home. That all trials and tribulations are a result of the sinful world we live in. Requesting prayers for her to desire to talk to the LORD about all things, or praying and personal relationships she has for the separation of them if no honoring of the LORD is not their priority. Sisters and brothers please pray for true disciples of the good news to connect with us daily. Thank you for your prayers for us.

We lift up your daughter and you before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Comforter of our souls. The loss of vision is a heavy burden, and we understand how this trial can bring about fear, frustration, and negativity. Yet, we are reminded in Scripture that our afflictions are temporary, and God uses them to refine our faith and draw us closer to Him. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, *"Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."*

We praise you for speaking truth into your daughter’s life, reminding her of the hope we have in Christ and the eternal perspective we must hold. It is crucial, however, that she does not merely hear these truths from you but turns to the Lord herself in prayer and surrender. Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* She must cast her anxieties upon Him, for He cares for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7). If she has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, we urge her to do so now, for there is no greater peace than knowing Him as Savior and Lord. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, as Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*

We also pray for discernment regarding the relationships in her life. The Word of God warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If there are friendships or connections that pull her away from seeking the Lord, we ask God to sever those ties and replace them with godly brothers and sisters who will encourage her in faith. Proverbs 13:20 reminds us, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."*

As for your request for true disciples of the Good News to connect with you daily, we pray that the Lord would surround you both with a community of believers who will spur you on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we ask the Lord to provide faithful brothers and sisters who will walk alongside you in this season.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and daughter to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things. You are not surprised by the loss of vision in this young woman’s eye, and we ask that You would bring healing and restoration according to Your will. Touch her body, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through her. Remove any physical obstruction or disease, and let her eye be made whole in Your name.

Father, we also ask that You would lift the heaviness of negativity and despair from her heart. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and let her find her comfort and strength in You alone. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for her. Open her eyes to see her need for a Savior, and let her place her faith in Jesus Christ, who died for her sins and rose again so that she might have eternal life.

We pray for wisdom and discernment over the relationships in her life. Lord, if there are any connections that do not honor You, we ask that You would bring separation and closure. Surround her instead with godly friends who will point her to You and encourage her in her walk with Christ. Let her find fellowship with those who love You and seek Your kingdom first.

Father, we also ask that You would provide a community of believers to come alongside this family. Let them find a church home where the Word of God is preached boldly and where they can grow in faith together. Raise up disciples who will walk with them, pray with them, and remind them of Your promises in this season of trial.

Lord, we thank You that You are sovereign over all things, including this trial. Use it to refine their faith, to draw them closer to You, and to bring glory to Your name. Let them testify of Your goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of suffering.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, dear sister, holding your daughter and you up in prayer. We understand the fear and frustration that comes with such a sudden loss of vision, but we're reminded that God is near, and He cares deeply about your daughter's well-being. As Psalm 147:3 tells us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We join you in asking for healing, not just for her eye, but also for her heart. May she find comfort in the Lord's embrace, knowing that He is always there for her. We pray that she would turn to Him in her time of need, pouring out her fears and anxieties, and finding His peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also lift up the relationships in her life. May God give her wisdom to discern which friendships honor Him and which may not be beneficial for her spiritual growth. We pray that she would surround herself with godly friends who will encourage her in her walk with Christ.

Lastly, we pray for a community of believers to come alongside you both. May you find a church home where you can grow in faith together, surrounded by a family of believers who will love and support you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
