Losing my Property and Losing My Mind

Lord. Now I have hired my third lawyer to fight for my husband and my property of ### years. It's been over ### years since this nightmare started. Lots of crimes and fraud have happened and I have been unable to spend enough money to have justice served and get my husband and my property back. It is time Lord. I don't want to live anymore like this. Please just take me if you won't give me my life back. In Jesus' name Amen.

We hear the deep anguish in your cry, and our hearts ache with you over the weight of this prolonged battle—both for your husband and the property that has been wrongfully withheld from you. The injustice, the fraud, the financial strain, and the emotional toll of these many years have left you feeling hopeless, even questioning whether life is worth living. But we must gently yet firmly remind you that your life is *precious* in the sight of God, and He has not abandoned you in this storm. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly—even in the midst of suffering.

The Bible assures us that the Lord is a God of justice, and He sees every act of wickedness committed against His children. Proverbs 22:22-23 declares, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder those who plunder them."* He is your Advocate, your Defender, and your Vindicator. While the legal battle has been long and the system has failed you, God’s timing is perfect, and His justice will prevail. He is not blind to the crimes committed against you, nor is He indifferent to your pain. Psalm 37:5-6 urges, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."*

Yet we must also address the despair that has taken root in your heart. The desire to no longer live is a lie from the pit of hell, designed to rob you of the victory God has prepared for you. Satan wants you to believe that ending your life will end your pain, but the truth is that your story is not over—God is still writing redemption into your circumstances. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your life has purpose, and the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). He is collecting every tear you’ve shed (Psalm 56:8), and He will turn your mourning into dancing in His time.

As for your husband, we lift him up before the Lord, praying that God would protect him, sustain him, and bring him back to you in safety and wholeness. If there has been any separation or estrangement, we pray for reconciliation and restoration, that your marriage would be strengthened and renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:31-32 tells us that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church. We stand in agreement that God would honor that covenant and bring your husband home to you, if it is His will.

Regarding the property, we declare that what has been stolen will be restored sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31). The Lord is able to turn the tables on those who have acted wickedly. Just as He restored Job’s losses after his suffering (Job 42:10), He will restore what has been taken from you. But we also encourage you to seek godly wisdom in this legal battle. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Have you sought prayer and guidance from your church leadership or trusted believers who can walk with you in this? Sometimes, the Lord provides breakthrough not just through lawyers, but through the unity and intercession of His people.

Lastly, we must address the weariness in your spirit. You have fought long and hard, and it is understandable that you feel exhausted. But Jesus invites you in Matthew 11:28: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Rest doesn’t mean the battle is over, but it means you don’t have to carry the weight alone. Surrender this burden to Him afresh today. Let Him fight for you (Exodus 14:14). Spend time in His Word, in worship, and in the presence of other believers who can lift you up when you feel weak.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is weary, broken, and desperate for Your intervention. Lord, You see the injustice she has endured—the fraud, the theft, the prolonged suffering, and the separation from her husband. We ask that You would rise up as her Defender, her Justice, and her Provider. Expose every hidden wickedness, Lord, and bring to light the deeds done in darkness. Let those who have acted unjustly be held accountable, and let Your righteous judgment prevail.

Father, we pray for her husband—protect him, sustain him, and if it is Your will, bring him back to her swiftly and safely. Restore their marriage, Lord, and let it be stronger than before, rooted in Your love and grace. As for the property that has been wrongfully taken, we declare restoration in Jesus’ name. Let what was stolen be returned sevenfold, and let Your abundance overflow in her life.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of despair that has sought to overwhelm her. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus! You have no authority over her mind, her emotions, or her future. Father, fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31), and let her hope be anchored in You alone.

We ask for divine wisdom in every legal decision, Lord. Guide her lawyers, open doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor rest upon her case. Provide the financial means she needs to see this through, and let Your justice be swift.

Most of all, Father, draw her closer to You in this season. Let her find rest in Your presence, strength in Your Word, and comfort in Your promises. Remind her that You are her Shepherd, and she shall not want (Psalm 23:1). You are her Redeemer, and You will never forsake her.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, and we declare that You are turning this situation around for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Victory, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of injustice, the financial strain, and the emotional toll. It's been a long, exhausting journey, and it's easy to feel hopeless. But remember, God sees you. He sees every tear, every injustice, and He's been with you through it all.

We want to encourage you with a story from the Bible. In 2 Kings 6, the prophet Elisha was surrounded by a powerful enemy. His servant was terrified, but Elisha prayed, and God opened the servant's eyes to see the angelic army surrounding them, protecting them. The enemy outnumbered them, but God was with them. That's our promise to you too. You might feel alone, but God is with you, and He's fighting for you.

We're claiming Psalm 37:7 for you today: "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the man who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!" Trust in the Lord, and He will act on your behalf. He will fight your battles, and He will restore what was taken from you.

And remember, God is not done with your story yet. He has a future and a hope for you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Keep holding on, sister. God is still writing your story, and it's going to be a beautiful one.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
