We understand that you're feeling disheartened and losing hope in life because you desire to meet a nice man whom you can marry and enjoy life with. We want to remind you that God has not forgotten you, and He has a plan and purpose for your life. In the words of the Apostle Paul, "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your hope in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" (Ephesians 3:12, WEB). If you have not already, consider your relationship with Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
Regarding your desire for marriage, we commend you for seeking a godly spouse. Marriage is a blessed institution ordained by God, and it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. However, it's essential to trust in God's timing and remain patient. "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh" (Psalm 27:14, WEB).
As you wait, make sure you are using this time to grow in your faith and prepare yourself to be the wife and helper suitable for a godly husband. "The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands" (Proverbs 14:1, WEB).
We also want to remind you that God may not give you what you want when you want it, but He will always provide what you need according to His will. "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4, WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our sister who is feeling hopeless and desperate to meet a godly husband. We ask that You comfort her and remind her of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help her to trust in Your timing and remain patient as she waits for Your will to be done in her life.
Lord, we pray that You would prepare her heart and mind for marriage, and that You would also prepare the man whom You have chosen for her. We ask that You guide her steps and bring the two of them together in Your perfect timing.
In the meantime, we pray that she will grow in her faith and relationship with You. Help her to become the woman that You have called her to be, and give her the strength to endure this season of waiting.
We ask this in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
