You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). Your body is a sacred vessel, and caring for it is an act of worship.
However, we must gently address the incomplete portion of your prayer where you mention desiring to "get myself a ###." If this refers to a romantic relationship or marriage, we encourage you to approach this with godly intention. Scripture is clear that marriage is a holy covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). Father, if they are seeking a spouse, we ask that You prepare their heart and the heart of the one You have for them. Lead them to someone who loves You above all else, and let their relationship be built on Your Word, purity, and mutual respect.
