Lose My Voice Everytime I Sing In Church

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi,

Years ago I was in a auto in which I had paralysis of a vocal cord, facial fractures, burning and numbness in my face. As I've gotten older, whenever I sing at church, I lose my voice until it hurts to even talk. Singing for about 5 minutes creates problems: voice becomes raspy, burning and numbness in face returns, shoulders and neck hurts, headaches appear. This lasts for several days up to a few months. I know there are other ways to praise the Lord,but I so want to sing again. Please pray.

I prayed for this in Jesus name. Amen.

A swollen thyroid could affect the voice and neck, and treatment with iodine and maybe a small amount of thyroid hormones couldhelp.

However, it sounds nerve related. Please try an upper cervical chiropractor. They are specialists in the neck and use very gentle adjustments (no twisting or snapping whatsoever).

A check and possible adjustment of the neck could relieve pressure on the nerve.

There are 12 or 13 types of Upper Cervical chiropractors.

Atlas Orthogonist is one type.

I've prayed for you in Jesus' holy name...prayer changes things! Stand on God's word - you have even more power than a conqueror - believe it.

“Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.†{Romans 8:37}

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
