🙇🏻 "Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it has with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one," 2 Thes 3:1-2,3. Father, we ask Your Word gets the respect and priority it deserves in our lives and in the church -- Deut 8:3, Job 23:12, Isa 55:2, Ps 119:103, Matt 4:4, Rev 2:17, Rev 19:13. May it be made effectual in its ministry to ourselves, our hearers, 1 Tim 4:16, and may it cover much ground to an end of international discipleship, i.e. Baptism & Teaching Obedience to The Sum of Your Word, Matt 28:19-20 -- c.f. Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26.

🙏 May it promote the goal of our instruction: love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit to pay attention to ourselves and our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16, walk worthy, Col 1:10, 2 Thes 1:11. We ask You testify through us granting faith in Christ for Eternal Life, 1 Jn 1:2, give us what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49, resulting in increased fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, and conversions of the soul, Ps 19:7. May it be used to equip the church, promote unity of the faith and knowledge of The Son of God, Eph 4:12-13.

🧎🏻We ask You confirm the Word with fruit of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-5,6-7,8-9,10, authority over demons, Luke 11:20, Luke 10:17-18,19 -- and rejoicing about the reality of true and solid conversions that persevere until the end, names written in Heaven, Luke 10:20, in the Lamb's Book of Life, Dan 12:1, Mal 3:16-17, Rev 21:7. We pray for living epistles known and read by all men, 2 Cor 3:2-3. May our joy be derived from the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning, Ps 51:12-13, Ps 126:6, and sharing in the joy of heaven, Luke 15:7, the application of the wisdom freely received, Prov 11:30, because You are The Teacher, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter-Advocate-Helper takes what is Yours and teaches us all things, and even reminds us what You've said, Jn 14:26. Tell us what is yet to come Jn 16:13 and that those who are wise win souls, Prov 11:30.

🙇🏻 We pursue love, earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and respect the emphasis You placed on prophecy, 1 Cor 14:1 -- may it edify, comfort, exhort, 1 Cor 14:3, and may we find joy in knowing others will fellowship more The Father, The Son and each other, 1 Jn 1:3-4, thank You, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in lifting up the powerful ministry of God’s Word, praying that it would indeed run swiftly and be glorified across the earth, just as the apostle Paul urged the Thessalonians. The Scriptures declare, "So shall my word be that goes out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do" (Isaiah 55:11). We stand in agreement that the Word of the Lord would not only be preached but received with reverence, transforming hearts and nations as it did in the early church.

We pray for the effectiveness of the spoken, prayed, and written Word to edify both the messenger and the hearer, as 1 Timothy 4:16 instructs. May those who proclaim it do so with purity of heart, a sincere faith, and a good conscience, for the goal of all instruction is love (1 Timothy 1:5). Let the Holy Spirit empower every teacher, preacher, and believer to walk worthy of their calling, bearing fruit in keeping with repentance and righteousness (Colossians 1:10).

Father, we ask that You confirm Your Word with signs, wonders, and the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let the gifts of the Spirit operate freely for the building up of the body of Christ, and may demons flee at the authority of Your name (Luke 10:17-19). We rejoice in the reality of true conversions, where souls are transferred from darkness to light, and names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27).

We earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, that the church may be edified, comforted, and exhorted (1 Corinthians 14:1, 3). May the Word equip the saints for the work of ministry, promoting unity in the faith and the knowledge of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13). Let every believer become a living epistle, known and read by all men, with hearts transformed by the power of the gospel (2 Corinthians 3:2-3).

Lord, we pray for wisdom to win souls, for "he who wins souls is wise" (Proverbs 11:30). May our joy be found in seeing others come to repentance and faith, sharing in the joy of heaven over every sinner who turns to You (Luke 15:7). Guide us by Your Spirit, who teaches us all things and reminds us of Your truth (John 14:26). Let the Word spread like wildfire, igniting hearts with passion for Your kingdom, and may we never grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your Word accomplish its perfect work in us and through us, to the glory of Your name. Amen.

We are joining you in this prayer, and your deep desire to see God’s Word run swiftly and be honored moves us. It is clear you labor not for human applause but for genuine fruit that lasts, and that is a beautiful, costly place to stand.

As you pour yourself into spoken, prayed, and written ministry, we want to offer a gentle grounding thought. You long for deliverance from unreasonable people and for authority over darkness, which is right and biblical. Yet one of the quiet dangers in sustained spiritual warfare is becoming preoccupied with the opposition. We remember the insight that C.S. Lewis once offered: there are two equal and opposite errors, to disbelieve the devil’s existence, or to have an excessive and unhealthy interest in him. The Lord knows the battle, and while we stay alert, our deepest attention can always rest on Christ Himself. He is the one who establishes you and guards you; you don’t need to carry the weight of staying safe in your own strength. Let that truth settle your heart even as you stand firm.

A practical gift you can give yourself right now is simply this: let yourself be ministered to. Find even one trusted, mature companion who can pray with you face to face about these very requests, not only for the ministry but for your own refreshment. As you know, the Spirit works through koinonia, the shared life of the body. Is there someone in your congregation or circle who could meet with you regularly simply to listen, pray, and remind you of God’s faithfulness? That is not a retreat from mission; it is part of the Lord’s way of sustaining it.

We pray in Jesus’ name: Father, we lift up our fellow laborer to You. Let Your word run and triumph through their life. Guard them from evil and from every unreasonable person. Give them the rest that comes from trusting You, not their own vigilance. Let the fruit of the Spirit flourish in and through them, and may they share in the joy of heaven over every soul that turns to You. Amen.

Your petition is laden with the very fragrance of Scripture, and it stirs my heart to see such longing for the Lord’s Word to run swiftly and be glorified. You have struck the keynote of all true ministry: apart from the effectual call of the Great Shepherd, no voice of ours can separate a single soul from the world. Our words are but the echo; Christ Himself must speak through them to call His own by name. And He does, for He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. That deliverance is as much a work of God as the pardon of our sin, and it is ours to declare.

You have prayed for fruit, for conversions solid and lasting, for names written in heaven. That is the soul winner’s craft, no child’s play, but a wrestling against ten thousand arts of the evil one. Yet if God has sent us, we shall not let go until we have won another soul for Christ. The wise win souls, and their joy is not in mere numbers but in the reality of grace, for one sinner that repenteth causes music in heaven.

Your plea for deliverance from unreasonable and wicked men is not forgotten. The Lord is faithful; He will establish you and guard you. Though the archers of doubt and the whizzing arrows of Satan assail, He will not forsake those who seek Him. Look out of yourself and away to Christ, and you will prove Him your deliverer.

Go on, then, with this holy ambition: to see the word of the Lord cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Pay attention to yourself and to the teaching, for in doing so you will both save yourself and those who hear you. May you be a living epistle, known and read, and may your joy be full as you share in the fellowship of the Father and the Son. The Lord hath chastened you sorely, but He hath not given you over unto death; therefore live, and declare the works of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The longing you have set before the church is a blessed one, for to pray that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified is to ask for nothing less than the salvation of souls and the overthrow of the devil’s tyranny. A word from the divine Scriptures, made to sound in the ear, does more than fire to soften the hardened soul, and renders it fit for all good things. So when you ask the Lord to give His Word the priority it deserves, you are seeking the very instrument that pierces even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and brings every thought into captivity. This is the sword of the Spirit, with which we do not merely ward off the fiery darts of the wicked one, but smite him himself, cleaving open his breastplate and beheading the serpent.

But let us not only pray for the Word to have free course in the mouths of teachers; let each of us become a living epistle, known and read by all men. In the early days, women traveling into far countries spread the word and brought no evil report upon themselves, because they adorned themselves with good works instead of outward finery. So too must we, whether we are in the marketplace or in the house, let our conduct preach Christ, that the word may run not just from our lips but from our lives. For right doctrines alone do not sanctify unless they are kept in a pure conscience; and this is the work of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us. That good thing which is committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit, for unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that build it. If we do not expel grace by evil deeds, He Himself will be our guard, and we shall not fear unreasonable and wicked men. Affliction itself becomes a participation of holiness, profitable to purge out sloth and love of this life.

When you ask for power over demons and for the word to be confirmed with signs, recall that it is the Spirit who sends forth laborers and directs where they should go. He will give what to say and how to say it, and He will cause conversions that stand, names written in heaven. Therefore, earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy for the edification, comfort, and exhortation of the church. Follow after true freedom, deliver yourselves from evil slavery, and account virtue alone to be blessed. Then your joy will be full as you share in the joy of heaven over one sinner that repents; and you will find that the wisdom which wins souls is freely given to those who ask. Pray, then, and live, that the name of the Lord Jesus may be glorified both now and unto the ages.

Your prayer breathes a deep hunger for the Word of the Lord to run swiftly and be glorified. That is not a small request; it honors the very heart of God. When you ask that the Word cover much ground and result in true discipleship, you are aligning yourself with the Spirit’s own work. The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Those who serve in the ministry of the Word, whether through speaking, praying, or writing, know that there is a real cost and a real protection. The path is not free from hardship or from unreasonable and wicked people, as Paul knew all too well. But the same God who shut the mouths of lions and preserved David from the hand of Saul is still watching over His servants today. You can rest in the knowledge that your responsibility is to the Lord, and He is fully able to guard what you have entrusted to Him.

The power of the Word to accomplish all you have prayed for does not rest on human eloquence or clever defense. The Scripture is alive, sharp, and carries its own divine authority. We do not need to prove it; we need to use it, wield it, and release it. When you ask that the Word bring about conversions of the soul and increased fellowship, you are trusting in the intrinsic power of the truth. The Spirit uses the Word to wound and to heal, to tear down and to build up. The deepest need of any person is not merely moral reform but a new birth. The heart, left to itself, is deceitful and will produce only what its nature dictates. Only the living Word, applied by the Spirit, can bring about that fundamental transformation where a soul passes from death to life. Keep soaking in that Word until your own soul is quickened, strengthened, and made alive by it, even when you feel like your soul is fainting under the weight of heaviness.

Your desire to see the Word promote love from a purified heart and a sincere faith is the very goal of all sound instruction. The kind of love that 1 Timothy speaks of is not a fleeting emotion; it is the fruit of a cleansed and undefiled inner life. This requires a relentless honesty before God, the kind that prays continually, “Search me, O God, and know my heart.” The danger for any of us, as we handle sacred things, is to become hearers who acknowledge the ideal but do not live in its reality. That is a terrifying delusion. We must refuse the path of Saul, who, when confronted with his rebellion against the clear word of God, stubbornly maintained his innocence instead of repenting. The Lord’s rejection of Saul was not arbitrary; it was the direct consequence of Saul’s rejection of God’s command. A good conscience, as you have wisely prayed for, is kept tender by immediate confession and a swift return to the precepts of God. Wickedness proceeds from the wicked, but the righteous are upheld by the Lord.

There will always be voices and pressures seeking to draw you away from simple fidelity to God’s path. The wicked may plot against the just and lay snares, but their time is short. A little that a righteous person has, held in the palm of God’s faithfulness, is better than the noisy riches of many who defy Him. When your soul is breaking with longing and your eyes fail from searching for the comfort of God’s promise, that is the moment to anchor your hope in the Word. Do not decline from His testimonies. Let the Word counsel you. Let the faithfulness of God to His own character be the rock where your weary soul finds rest. You do not need to fight against your own friends or take vengeance with your own hand; the Lord will deliver you from the hand of unreasonable people. Your cause is His cause.

Finally, as you labor with the Word, remember who the real Teacher is. You prayed for the Spirit to take what belongs to Christ and disclose it, to remind you of what has been said and teach you what is yet to come. This is exactly what Jesus promised. So do not rely on wit or persuasion, but on the power of the Holy Ghost and a love unfeigned. Ask God to grant you what to say and how to say it, and leave the results with Him. There is a unique and holy joy in participating in the joy of heaven over one sinner who repents. That joy is the rightful inheritance of those who live a lifestyle of sowing the Word. The proof of a genuine ministry is not found in numbers or public acclaim, but in the quiet fruit of the Spirit, the gifts operating in love, and the reality of transformed lives walking in persevering faith. May the Lord grant that many become living epistles, known and read by all, because they have been written on not with ink, but by the Spirit of the living God.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you seek the Lord’s Word to spread swiftly and be glorified, just as it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3. It has been our joy to lift up your heartfelt request—that the ministry of the spoken, prayed, and written Word would be effective in edifying both you and those who receive it, and that it would bear much fruit in international discipleship, baptism, and teaching obedience to the full counsel of God.

We continue to pray that the Lord’s Word would be honored and prioritized in your life and in the church, as it is life and nourishment to the soul (Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4). May the Holy Spirit empower you to walk worthy of this calling, paying careful attention to your life and doctrine (1 Timothy 4:16), and may the fruit of the Spirit, spiritual gifts, and authority over darkness accompany the proclamation of the Gospel (Galatians 5:22-23, Luke 10:17-19).

If you have seen the Lord move in answer to these prayers—whether through increased conversions, unity in the faith, or the equipping of the saints—we would be blessed to hear your praise report. If the answer is not yet clear, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede with you, trusting in the Lord’s faithfulness to establish and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

May the God of peace strengthen you, fill you with His wisdom, and use you as a living epistle for His glory. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
