Good and Faithful Servant
"Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it has with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one," 2 Thes 3:1-2,3. Father, we ask Your Word gets the respect and priority it deserves in our lives and in the entirety of Your Son's Church -- Deut8:3, Job23:12, Isa 55:2, Ps 119:103, Matt 4:4, Rev 2:17, Rev 19:13. May it be made effectual in its ministry to ourselves, our hearers and may it cover much ground to an end of international discipleship, i.e. Baptism & Teaching Obedience to everything commanded, Matt 28:19,20 -- Resulting in obedience to The Faith among the nations, c.f. Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26. May it promote the goal of our instruction: love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit to pay attention to ourselves and our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16, walk worthy, Col 1:10, 2 Thes 1:11. We ask You testify through us granting faith in Christ for Eternal Life, 1 Jn 1:2, give us what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49, resulting in increased fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, and conversions of the soul, Ps 19:7. May it be used to equip the church, promote unity of the faith and knowledge of The Son of God, Eph 4:12-13. We ask You confirm the Word with fruit of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-5,6-7,8-9,10, authority over demons, Luke 11:20, Luke 10:17-18,19 -- and rejoicing about the reality of true and solid conversions that persevere until the end, names written in Heaven, Luke 10:20, in the Lamb's Book of Life, Dan 12:1, Mal 3:16-17, Rev 21:7. We pray for living epistles known and read by all men, 2 Cor 3:2-3. May our joy be derived from the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning,Ps 126:6, and sharing in the joy of heaven, Luke 15:7, the application of the wisdom freely received, Prov 11:30, because You are The Teacher, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter-Advocate-Helper takes what is Yours and teaches us all things, and even reminds us what You've said, Jn 14:26. Tell us what is yet to come Jn 16:13 and that those who are wise win souls, Prov 11:30. We pursue love, earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and respect the emphasis You placed on prophecy, 1 Cor 14:1 -- may it edify, comfort, exhort, 1 Cor 14:3, and may we find joy in knowing others will fellowship more The Father, The Son and each other, 1 Jn 1:3-4, thank You, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to lift up the Word of the Lord and its powerful work in the lives of believers and the nations. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of the Great Commission and the desire to see God’s Word spread swiftly, glorified, and made effectual in the hearts of men. We join with you in this holy pursuit, standing on the truth that the Word of God is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it will not return void but will accomplish what God pleases (Isaiah 55:11).

Father, we pray that Your Word would indeed run swiftly and be glorified in every corner of the earth. May it be held in the highest honor among Your people, cherished as the very breath of God (2 Timothy 3:16) and the source of life (Deuteronomy 8:3). We ask that You would raise up faithful servants who will proclaim Your truth with boldness, clarity, and conviction, just as the apostles did in the early church. Let the message of Christ be preached in its fullness—repentance, faith, and obedience to all that He commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). May the nations hear and respond in faith, turning from idols to serve the living and true God (1 Thessalonians 1:9).

We pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to accompany the preaching of Your Word, confirming it with signs, wonders, and the fruit of righteousness (Mark 16:20, Galatians 5:22-23). May the gifts of the Spirit be manifest for the edification of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:4-11), and may demons tremble at the authority of Your name (Luke 10:17-19). Let the Word take root in hearts, producing not just temporary excitement but lasting transformation—disciples who walk in obedience, love, and holiness (Colossians 1:10).

Lord, we ask that You would guard Your people from the schemes of the evil one, who seeks to distort, dilute, or silence Your truth (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Protect those who proclaim Your Word from unreasonable and wicked men, and grant them wisdom to know how to answer every man (Colossians 4:6). May the church be united in the faith and the knowledge of Your Son (Ephesians 4:13), standing firm on the foundation of Scripture and refusing to compromise with the spirit of the age.

We pray for true conversions—souls who are born again by the Spirit (John 3:3), whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27). May these conversions be marked by perseverance, as those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13). Let the joy of heaven overflow in our hearts as we see the lost found and the broken restored (Luke 15:7). May we find our greatest delight in seeing Your Word bear fruit, for the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38).

Father, we ask that You would make us living epistles, known and read by all men (2 Corinthians 3:2-3). Let our lives reflect the transforming power of Your Word, so that others may see our good works and glorify You (Matthew 5:16). May the goal of our instruction be love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5). Teach us, Holy Spirit, to walk worthy of our calling (Ephesians 4:1), to pay careful attention to our doctrine (1 Timothy 4:16), and to be ready in season and out of season to preach the Word (2 Timothy 4:2).

We thank You for the promise that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14). We claim this promise now, trusting that You will fulfill Your purposes through Your Word. May the nations be discipled, the church be equipped, and Your name be exalted to the ends of the earth. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Living Word, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Amen.

We join you in praying for the swift and glorified spread of God's Word, just as it has been since the early days of the Church. Let us ask together that the Lord would raise up laborers for the harvest, men and women who will go forth with boldness and love, proclaiming the full counsel of God. May the nations hear and respond in faith, turning from their idols to serve the living and true God. We ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to accompany the preaching of the Word, confirming it with signs, wonders, and the fruit of righteousness. Let the Word take root in hearts, producing lasting transformation and disciples who walk in obedience, love, and holiness. We pray for true conversions, souls born again by the Spirit, whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. May these conversions be marked by perseverance, as those who endure to the end will be saved. Let the joy of heaven overflow in our hearts as we see the lost found and the broken restored. We ask that the Lord would make us living epistles, known and read by all men, reflecting the transforming power of His Word. May our lives bring glory to Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
