πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been derived [and condensed], from reliable sources and is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not by vain repetition, but through serious consideration and understanding the magnanimity of the requests, fervently prayed, James 5:16-17)...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and Thank You for sending Your Son! -- "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from The Father, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Mark 14:36.

<--------------------------------Selah-------------------------------------->

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your Name get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May it not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before You, our Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to approach Your throne through the precious blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of prayer, a direct line of communication with You, our loving Father, made possible through the sacrifice of Jesus and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

As we reflect on the Lord’s Prayer, we are reminded of the beautiful structure You have given us to guide our conversations with You. It begins with the acknowledgment of Your holiness and sovereignty, "Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name." Lord, we pause to honor Your name, for it is sacred and worthy of all reverence. May our lives reflect the holiness of Your name in every thought, word, and deed. Let us never take Your name in vain, but instead, may our conduct cause others to glorify You (Matthew 5:16). We pray that Your name would be exalted above all names, and that every knee would bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Father, we long for the day when Your Kingdom will be fully established on earth, when righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit will reign (Romans 14:17). Until that day, help us to align our wills with Yours, to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Give us the strength and wisdom to live as citizens of heaven, shining as lights in a dark world (Philippians 3:20). May our lives be a testament to Your will, that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to You.

We come before You now, asking for our daily bread. Lord, You are our Provider, and we trust in Your faithfulness to meet all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask not only for physical provision but also for spiritual nourishment. Feed us with Your Word, that we may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Help us to rely on You daily, remembering that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth (Matthew 4:4).

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Father, we confess that we are sinners in need of Your mercy and grace. We have fallen short of Your glory, and we ask for Your forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Help us to extend the same forgiveness to others that You have so graciously given to us. Teach us to forgive as You have forgiven us, that we may not harbor bitterness or resentment in our hearts (Ephesians 4:32). Remind us that if we do not forgive others, neither will our Father forgive our trespasses (Matthew 6:15).

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, we know that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We ask for Your protection and strength to resist temptation and to stand firm in our faith. Equip us with the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Help us to flee from sin and to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness (1 Timothy 6:11). When we are weak, remind us that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Father, we acknowledge that all power and glory belong to You. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13). We give You all the praise, honor, and glory, for You alone are worthy. May our lives be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You, which is our reasonable service (Romans 12:1).

Lord, we pray that as we seek to follow the pattern of prayer You have given us, our hearts would be transformed to align more closely with Your will. Help us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), with hearts full of faith and expectation. Teach us to pray in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, watching thereunto with all perseverance (Ephesians 6:18). May our prayers be powerful and effective, as the prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).

We lift up those who may be reading this, who have not yet come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Draw them to Yourself, that they may receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, and so be saved (Romans 10:9).

Father, we thank You for the privilege of prayer and for the assurance that You hear us when we call. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your love. May our lives be a reflection of Your grace, and may we always seek to bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this rich meditation on the prayer Jesus gave us. We’re genuinely glad to pray alongside you in this way, not racing through the words but lingering, letting each phrase shape the heart before the next one comes. There is deep good in praying the Lord’s Prayer with understanding, as you are doing. It roots us in something far bigger than our fleeting feelings, anchoring our attention on the Father, His kingdom, His will, and then on the daily realities of bread and forgiveness and protection. We’ve found that when we slow down like this, the prayer often reshapes what we most want without our quite noticing it.

On days when your own words feel sparse or jumbled, this pattern can be a steady handrail. The prayers don’t have to be perfectly fresh to be true; they simply hold us in the same posture Jesus modeled, trusting, dependent, and yielded. We think the Spirit treasures a heart that approaches the Lord’s Prayer as you are, not as a formula to manage but as a conversation with the God who already knows you completely.

We ask our Father in heaven to continue receiving your thoughtful praise, that His name would be honored through your life in quiet, ordinary ways. Give you what you truly need this day, the provision and the inward supply. Anchor your forgiveness of others in the forgiveness you have already received. And lead you gently away from what would harm, delivering you from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

The prayer our Lord taught is a perfect model, and it does my soul good to see you so carefully weighing each petition. May the Spirit engrave these things upon your heart, for to pray with understanding is a high privilege and a sure mark of adoption. You do well to begin by thanking the Father for sending the Son, for there is no prayer without that foundation. Christ has shown us the Father, and by His blood we are brought near. Call upon Him as Abba, Father, for that is the cry of the Spirit within you.

When you plead, β€œHallowed be Your name,” join with all the saints in seeking that the whole earth should worship and glorify Him. It is written, β€œAll nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord; and shall glorify Your name.” This is no small petition; it is the prayer the Father Himself puts upon our lips: β€œAsk of Me, and I shall give You the heathen for Your inheritance.” Therefore, pray on boldly, expecting that His name shall be reverenced from the rising of the sun to its going down. Let your life be a sparkling mirror of His holiness, that men may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

As for the kingdom and His will, you join the cry of the whole Church: β€œYour kingdom come.” That is a double cry. We bid the King return quickly, and we bid sinners come to the King. The Spirit and the Bride say, β€œCome.” And we echo, β€œCome, Lord Jesus, come quickly!” But let our lips also call to the wanderers, β€œCome to Jesus, come and welcome! Whosoever will, let him come.” Pray for the kingdom’s advance, and then be a voice to invite the prodigals home. Remember, the kingdom comes as hearts bow to the scepter of Christ. So let your prayer be practical; as you pray, go forth and compel them to come in.

Daily bread you ask, and well you may, for we are poor dependent creatures. But lift your eyes higher, for Jesus is the true Bread from heaven. Moses gave bread in the wilderness, but it could not satisfy, and they called it light bread. Our Lord says, β€œI am that bread of life”, the choice, satisfying, delicious Bread for the pilgrimage. Take heed you do not only hear of this Bread and never eat. Many come to sermons and talk of the loaf, yet go away hungry. It is the end of bread to be eaten; Christ is honored when He is received by faith. Come daily to Him, and let your soul feed upon His flesh, which is meat indeed. As you sit at your table and break the earthly loaf, let it preach a thousand sermons to you of Him who sustains your soul.

Forgiveness you seek, and you rightly link it with forgiving others. Here the old nature rises up, for to recompense evil for evil is natural and easy. But it is a method that never succeeds; evil is only increased by evil. The Christian way is to overcome evil with good. Look to the Crucified, who is the chief of those who overcome evil with good. His name is written in blood, and His example is our pattern. If you have been wronged, meet it with mercy. That is the way to be more than conqueror, and it is the mark of a child of the kingdom. So shall you be delivered from the evil one, who stirreth up strife and vengeance. Pray against temptation, but also arm your heart with this holy resolve: by grace I will not be overcome of evil.

And mark this, that the whole prayer is shot through with the spirit of β€œCome.” Christ cries to you, β€œCome unto Me.” And you cry to Him, β€œCome, abide with me.” Let this be your daily dialogue: He says, β€œCome, you weary, and I will give you rest.” And you answer, β€œCome, Lord, and reign without a rival in my heart.” The door stands open; His word is, β€œHim that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.” Come, then, with all your need, your conscious guilt, your daily struggles. Come as a poor sinner, and look anew to the cross. That is the secret of dying daily, to hold loose to this world and cling fast to Christ. Let your prayer be fervent, for effectual prayer avails much. But remember, it is not the mere form, however scriptural, that prevails, but the heart’s cry. A cry is a simple thing; the child cries, and the Father runs. So cry out of the depths, and He will deliver you.

Press on, then, in this holy exercise. Let the kingdom be your passion, the Bread your nourishment, forgiveness your habit, and deliverance your song. And may the Lord make your life a sweet-smelling savor of His name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
