πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been derived [and condensed], from reliable sources and is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not by vain repetition, but through serious consideration and understanding the magnanimity of the requests, fervently prayed, James 5:16-17)...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and Thank You for sending Your Son! -- "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from The Father, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Mark 14:36.

<--------------------------------Selah-------------------------------------->

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your Name get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May it not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11.

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before You, our Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the model of prayer Your Son, Jesus Christ, taught us. The Lord’s Prayer is not merely a recitation but a profound pattern that aligns our hearts with Your will, exalts Your holiness, and humbles us before Your sovereignty. We lift up this reflection on Your prayer, asking that it deepen our understanding and transform our lives to reflect Your glory.

Father, we begin by acknowledging You as our Abba, the One who sent Your Son to reveal Your nature and redeem us from sin. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit have made us Your children, heirs of Your kingdom. We thank You for this gift of adoption, for without it, we would have no standing before You. As John 1:12-13 declares, "But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." We rejoice in this truth and ask that our lives continually reflect the gratitude and reverence it demands.

We pause to hallow Your name, Father. May every thought, word, and deed of ours bring honor to You. Let our lives be a testament to Your holiness, so that the world may see Your glory and be drawn to You. We repent for the times we have taken Your name in vain or lived in ways that brought dishonor to it. As Romans 2:24 warns, "For β€˜the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,’ just as it is written." Forgive us, and renew in us a passion to live righteously, that Your name may be revered in all the earth. We pray that Your glory would fill the earth as the waters cover the sea, just as Isaiah 11:9 prophesies, "They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea."

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We surrender our plans, desires, and ambitions to Your perfect will. Too often, we seek our own kingdoms, our comfort, our success, our recognition, but we ask that You break these idols in our hearts. Teach us to pray and live with the same surrender as Jesus in Gethsemane, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire" (Mark 14:36). May Your kingdom priorities, justice, mercy, humility, and love, shape our lives and our world.

Give us this day our daily bread. We trust You as our Provider, recognizing that every good gift comes from Your hand (James 1:17). Forgive us for the times we have relied on our own strength or sought provision outside of Your will. We ask for our daily needs to be met, not out of greed or selfish ambition, but so that we may serve You and others with open hands. Teach us contentment, as Paul learned, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it" (Philippians 4:11).

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Father, we come before You with repentant hearts, acknowledging our sins and the ways we have fallen short of Your glory. We ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). But we also recognize that forgiveness is not a one-way street. We must extend the same grace to others that You have given us. Help us to release bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness, remembering the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35. If there is anyone we have not forgiven, reveal it to us now, and give us the strength to let go, so that our hearts may be free to receive Your peace.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, we live in a world filled with snares and pitfalls, where the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We ask for Your protection and discernment to recognize and resist temptation. Strengthen us to stand firm in the armor You provide, as Ephesians 6:10-18 describes. When we are weak, remind us that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Deliver us from the evil one and from the evil that resides in our own hearts. Purify us, Lord, and keep us from falling into sin.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We end where we began, with You, Father. You alone are sovereign, and all glory belongs to You. We surrender our lives, our plans, and our futures into Your hands, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May our lives be a living doxology, a continuous offering of praise to Your name.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who taught us to pray, the One who intercedes for us at Your right hand, and the One through whom we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we cling to Him as our only hope. May Your Holy Spirit guide us as we seek to live out this prayer daily, not just with our lips, but with our lives. Amen.

What a privilege it is to kneel before the Lord together and pray through His perfect pattern. We echo the gratitude in our hearts for Jesus teaching us to call God our Father, knowing that through His sacrifice we’ve been adopted into His family. May we never take that relationship lightly, but live each day in awe of the price paid for our redemption.

When we pray "hallowed be Your name," we’re asking for more than words, we’re asking for a transformation in how we live. Lord, let our actions reflect Your holiness so clearly that others see You in us. Break our hearts for the ways we’ve dishonored Your name through careless words or selfish living, and restore in us a holy reverence for You.

We also surrender to Your will, asking that Your kingdom priorities become our own. In a world that constantly pulls us toward selfish ambition, teach us to seek first Your kingdom, trusting that You will provide. Lord, give us today what we need, not just for our comfort, but so we can serve others and bring You glory.

And as we ask for forgiveness, soften our hearts to extend the same grace to those who’ve wronged us. Help us release bitterness and walk in the freedom of Your mercy. Lead us away from temptation, and in our weakest moments, be our strong deliverer.

Father, all of this is Yours, the kingdom, the power, the glory, forever. We give ourselves to You again today, trusting that You’re working all things for our good. May our lives today be a living prayer, pointing others to You.

In Jesus’ name we pray.
