πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" Teachers, scholars, theologians, pastors, and lovers of God throughout the ages (from all denominations within the Bride of Christ) have suggested various personal outlines and patterns -- seven having been studied (most have a consensus of what is revealed), from which the following has been derived [and condensed], but sincerely prayed (not by mere repetition, but with understanding the magnanimity of the requests)...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and Thank You for sending Your Son! -- "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from The Father, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Mark 14:36.

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your Name get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May it not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11.

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We see in your reflection a deep reverence for the Lord’s Prayer, and we join with you in lifting up its profound truths before our Heavenly Father. The pattern Jesus gave us in Matthew 6:9-13 is not merely words to be recited, but a sacred framework that aligns our hearts with God’s will, His kingdom, and His provision. It is a prayer that begins with worship, acknowledging our Father in heaven, hallowing His name, and then moves into surrender, dependence, forgiveness, and protection. How beautiful it is to approach God with such humility and trust!

You rightly emphasize that this prayer is not about empty repetition but about understanding the weight of what we are asking. When we say, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven," we are declaring our desire for God’s perfect rule to manifest in our lives and in the world around us. This is not a passive request but an active surrender of our own plans, ambitions, and even our struggles to His sovereign care. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." How often do we rush through these words without pausing to consider the transformation they require of us?

Your inclusion of John 14:9, where Jesus declares, "He who has seen me has seen the Father," is a powerful reminder that our access to the Father comes only through the Son. There is no other name by which we can approach God, no other mediator, no other sacrifice that can cleanse us from sin. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." This is why we must always pray in Jesus’ name, for it is only through His finished work on the cross that we have the right to come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If we neglect to acknowledge Jesus in our prayers, we risk treating prayer as a ritual rather than the lifeline of relationship with our Creator.

We also appreciate your emphasis on the Holy Spirit’s role in our adoption as children of God. Galatians 4:6-7 is a treasure: "And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, β€˜Abba, Father!’ So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." This truth should fill us with awe, we are not orphans, but heirs with Christ! Yet how often do we live as if we are still in bondage, carrying burdens we were never meant to bear? The Spirit within us cries out to the Father on our behalf, even when we don’t have the words (Romans 8:26). This is the intimacy we are invited into, one where we can call God "Abba," just as Jesus did in His darkest hour (Mark 14:36).

Now, let us lift these truths before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, for You have not left us to grope in the dark but have given us the perfect example of prayer through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You for the privilege of calling You "Abba, Father," not because of our own righteousness, but because of the blood of Jesus that has washed us clean. Lord, forgive us for the times we have treated prayer as a checklist rather than a conversation with our loving Father. Forgive us for the moments we have rushed through Your Word without letting it transform us.

We declare today that Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, just as it is in heaven. Break every chain of self-reliance, pride, and rebellion in us. Teach us to trust You completely, knowing that You hold all things together by Your power. Father, we ask for our daily bread, not just physical provision, but the bread of Your Word, the bread of Your presence, and the bread of Your Spirit to sustain us. Help us to live in dependence on You, not leaning on our own understanding.

We come before You with repentant hearts, asking for forgiveness for our sins, and we choose to extend that same forgiveness to those who have wronged us. Lord, we know that unforgiveness is a prison, and we do not want to be held captive by bitterness. Search our hearts and reveal any areas where we are harboring resentment. Give us the strength to forgive as You have forgiven us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We ask for Your protection over our minds, our families, our churches, and our nation. Clothe us in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Guard our hearts from the lies of the world, the flesh, and the enemy. Help us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

We acknowledge that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We surrender our plans, our dreams, and our very lives to You. May everything we do bring glory to Your name. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in step with You and be witnesses of Your love and truth in this broken world.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, and Lord. For there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is in His name alone that we have access to You. Thank You for hearing us, for loving us, and for moving on our behalf. May Your will be done in every area of our lives, and may we be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all who will hear.

Amen.

It’s beautiful how you’ve focused on the Lord’s Prayer as a pattern for our hearts’ deepest longings. We too are reminded that when Jesus taught us to pray, β€œOur Father,” He wasn’t just giving us words to repeat but a relationship to embrace, one where we can come with childlike trust, knowing He cares for every detail of our lives.

We’ve been thinking too about how this prayer moves from worship to surrender, from provision to protection. It’s not just about asking for what we need but aligning our hearts with His will. The part that touches us most is when it says, β€œLead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” That’s not just about avoiding sin, it’s about recognizing how much we need Jesus to guard our hearts, especially in moments when we feel weak or overwhelmed.

We’re praying that as you meditate on these words, you’d sense His presence surrounding you like a shield. May His peace guard your mind, His truth anchor your soul, and His love reassure you that He’s already working on your behalf.

Father, thank You that we can come to You as our loving Dad, who knows our needs before we even speak them. We ask for Your daily provision, not just for our bodies, but for our spirits. When we stumble or feel tempted, help us to run to You first. Guard us from the enemy’s lies, and fill us with fresh faith to walk in step with You. May everything we do today bring honor to Your name.

In Jesus’ name we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
