Intercessor
Beloved of All
Our Father in heaven (How to approach God)
Hallowed be Your Name; (God's glory and reputation should be prayed to increase)
Your kingdom come, (The church would be nourished, flourish and spread so Christ returns quickly)
Your will be done, (Just pray it!)
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
(Provision, favor,endurance wisdom & on the job, finances, food & shelter)
and forgive us our debts (relationship with God),
as we forgive those who are indebted to us (relationships with others);
and lead us not into temptation (protection from sinning),
but deliver us from evil (protection of body, soul & spirit).
In Jesus' Name, Amen
("When you [all] pray, pray after this pattern [not a suggestion in Greek]," Jesus, Matt 6:9-13; Compare, "When you pray, say these topics" [imperative -- again, Jesus is not suggesting we pray about certain topics, the first three we would almost forget entirely] -- Yes, He is Lord, meaning He does give us certain things to do and ways to do them, as well as certain things to avoid, and how to eradicate them from our walks of faith -- namely, confession of sin [Luke 11:1-5]). Be blessed and enriched in Jesus' Name.
