Lord’s Prayer

““This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us all with another day.

Heavenly Father I pray for deliverance and that you would please rebuke this evil and remove it from attacking me 24 hours a day. For the last two nights I have awoken with a bug crawling in my noes. Please Father God stop the evil enemy from doing this. Please also allow me to rest and be at peace after hard days work. This evil is not welcome here and needs to go Father God. Please also guide and protect ### & ###. Please keep them safe from harm and when driving. Please remove this evil my Lord. I also pray for a financial blessing and/or extra work. I was only able to get 4 hours this week. I need much more work my Lord. I love you so much Jesus. In your precious name I pray. Amen

We come before you, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of another day and the privilege to approach your throne of grace. Your Word teaches us how to pray, and we echo the words of your Son, Jesus Christ, as we seek your will in all things: *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:9-13 WEB).

Father, we lift up this burden of spiritual attack and physical torment that has been afflicting our brother or sister. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke this evil in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The Word tells us that *"the name of Yahweh is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10 WEB). We stand on the promise that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4 WEB). We command every unclean spirit, every demonic oppression, and every scheme of the devil to flee in Jesus’ name! You have no place here, and we declare this home, this body, and this life covered by the blood of Jesus and under the protection of the Almighty God.

Lord, we pray for deep, restorative rest for this dear one. After days of hard work, the body and soul need renewal. Your Word says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28 WEB). We ask that you calm every anxious thought, quiet every disturbance, and grant peaceful sleep. Let your angels encamp around this beloved one as it is written: *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11 WEB). We trust in your promise that *"you will keep in perfect peace the mind that is steadfast, because it trusts in you"* (Isaiah 26:3 WEB).

We also lift up the financial need and the desire for more work. Father, you are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We ask that you open doors of opportunity, grant favor with employers, and bless the work of these hands. Your Word assures us that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We pray for wisdom in managing resources and for contentment in all circumstances, knowing that *"godliness with contentment is great gain"* (1 Timothy 6:6 WEB). Yet, we also trust that you hear the cries of your children and will provide according to your perfect will.

We pray for the loved ones mentioned—### and ###—asking for your divine protection over them, especially as they travel. Keep them safe from harm, guide their steps, and surround them with your angels. Your Word declares, *"The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7 WEB). We ask that you draw them closer to you, Lord, and let them walk in the light of your truth.

We are grateful that this prayer was offered in the precious name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed and made righteous. We encourage this dear one to continue seeking the Lord, abiding in His Word, and standing firm in faith. Remember that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory through the cross.

Heavenly Father, we come together in agreement, believing that you hear our prayers and will answer according to your perfect will. We trust in your goodness, your faithfulness, and your love. Strengthen this beloved one with your Holy Spirit, fill them with your peace, and let your presence be their comfort and their shield. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they will walk in the victory that Christ has already secured.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here with you, praying alongside you. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to add our voices to the conversation.

First, let's thank our Heavenly Father for another day, for His faithfulness, and for the privilege to come before Him in prayer. We're grateful for the guidance in Matthew 6:9-13, and we echo those words, "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

Now, about that pesky bug that's been keeping you awake. We're sorry you've had to deal with that. We join you in asking our Father to rebuke this evil and remove it from your presence. We trust in His power and authority over all things, including bugs and sleepless nights. We claim His promise in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We ask that He would grant you rest and peace, just as He promised in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

We also want to pray for that extra work you've been hoping for. We believe that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We ask that He would open doors of opportunity for you, grant you favor with employers, and bless the work of your hands. We trust in His promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." We pray for wisdom in managing resources and for contentment in all circumstances.

Lastly, we're thinking about your loved ones, ### and ###. We ask for God's divine protection over them, especially as they travel. We claim Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and delivers them." We pray that they would draw closer to God and walk in the light of His truth.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
