📖 "Pray, then, after this manner... 🙌 ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

<———--------——— ———(Selah)—————----———————>

🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, then all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join you in thanking our Father for the perfect pattern for prayer that Jesus Himself gave us and we rejoice that you have lifted up this standard from Matt 6:9-13.

We love how you have noted the divine order in this prayer. Jesus teaches us to begin not with ourselves but with our Father in heaven, that His name would be kept holy, that His Kingdom would come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matt 6:9-10. Only after our hearts are aligned with His honor and His reign do we bring our own needs, give us today our daily bread, forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors, and bring us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. Matt 6:11-13. It is a beautiful reminder that when we seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well. Matt 6:33.

This teaches us humility and trust. We are to come as children to a Father who knows what we need before we ask, yet delights to hear us ask. We are to hallow His name, surrender to His will, depend on Him for daily provision, walk in forgiveness toward others as we have been forgiven, and rely on Him for deliverance from sin and the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Matt 6:13 reminds us that all prayer begins and ends with Him.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we hallow Your holy name and we thank You that through Jesus Christ we can call You Father. We ask that Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, in our families, and on this earth as it is in heaven. We trust You for our daily bread and for every provision we need. Forgive us our debts as we forgive those who have sinned against us, and help us to release any unforgiveness from our hearts. Lead us away from temptation and deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Help us to live this prayer and not only speak it, seeking Your Kingdom first every day. We ask all this in the precious and only name by which we can come to You and be saved, the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We loved reading your prayer of thanksgiving. The way you put the Father's name and Kingdom first before daily needs shows a heart that wants to seek Him first, and we join you in thanking Him for that.

It is a gift to come to God as Father who is near and holy at the same time, and to bring both His larger purposes and our everyday needs to Him in the same prayer. Your gratitude honors Him, and we are grateful to pray alongside you.

We notice how this order steadies the heart. When His honor and will come first, our requests for bread, forgiveness and protection find their right place, not as worries but as trust. We are praying that this rhythm shapes your days with quiet confidence as you walk with Him.

One simple way to keep this pattern alive this week is to linger on one phrase each morning, turning it into your own brief conversation with Him as you go through the day.

Father, thank You for inviting us to come to You as Your children. We hallow Your name and ask for Your Kingdom and Your will in our lives and in this world. Thank You for daily provision, for forgiveness, and for keeping us from evil. We give You the Kingdom, power and glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Your meditation upon the prayer which our Lord taught His disciples is most rightly ordered, for you have begun where our Saviour began, with the Father and His glory, His kingdom and His will, before you have turned to your own need.

We rejoice to join you in this manner of praying. Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. To hallow His name is to desire above all things that He be honored, revered and adored, and that all that we are and do may show forth His praise. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is the holy of holies of prayer, to ask first that He would reign in our hearts and in all the world, and that we might be quick of understanding to perceive our line of service and eager of heart to enter upon it. As it is written, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

Then, as you have prayed, we ask for our daily bread, confessing our continual dependence upon His fatherly hand for every provision, temporal and spiritual. We ask for forgiveness of our debts as we forgive our debtors. Let it never be forgotten that divine pardon is the only forgiveness possible, for no one can remit sin but God only, and He has found a ransom. The prisoner was ready to go down to the pit, but God has said, Deliver him, I have found a ransom, and His own Son has borne the penalty of all our iniquities. Through the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world we are cleansed from all sin, and being justified we are delivered also from the power of darkness. The grace of God has not come merely to keep us from a few notable vices, but to deliver us altogether from the power of sin, and to sanctify us wholly, for holiness is the crowning work of God in man.

And we pray with you, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. We look to the same hand that pardons to keep us, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification. He who has given commandment to save you will save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, from the evil one and from evil company, and that deliverance is an eternal one.

We therefore pray that you may know more and more the blessed fact of the Father's compassion, that your faith may keep hold upon His forgiveness and your security in Christ, and that your life may be a further dedication unto your delivering God, whose is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

We thank God that you know yourself humbled and yet rejoice that you are saved by Him, and we ask the Lord to keep you walking in covenant mercies, screened from the power of darkness and made to magnify Him with a grateful heart, in Jesus name, Amen.
