By All Means Save Some
God gives believers a passion to save others, calling you to share His love and see lives transformed.
The Wrestlers
The struggle against evil demands both courage and courtesy, so meet every challenge with strength and grace.
Two Loving Invitations
Christ invites you to first see Him for salvation and then dine with Him for deeper joy and strength.
We hear your cry and we join with you right now in Jesus' name, thanking God that you have called upon Him, for He is near and He hears you even when it feels like He is far away.

The Lord is not distant from your sadness and anger, He is close to you in it. Scripture tells us Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us to be strong and courageous, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you, he will not fail you nor forsake you. When you ask where is He, we want to assure you He has not left you, even when the heaviness and negativity make it hard to feel His presence.

We understand that sadness and anger can become overwhelming and can open the door to more darkness if we hold onto them. God does not condemn you for feeling these emotions, but He calls us to bring them to Him quickly so they do not take root. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Matthew 11:28 invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Ephesians 4:26-27 teaches us to be angry, and yet do not sin, do not let the sun go down on your wrath, and do not give place to the devil. And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also hear your heart asking for angels and the Holy Spirit, and we rejoice that you asked in Jesus' name, for John 14:6 tells us Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and to the help you are seeking. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Helper, and Romans 8:26 says the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And concerning angels, Psalm 91:11 promises He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and Hebrews 1:14 reminds us they are all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this precious one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the sadness and anger and the weight of negativity that feels like too much to bear. Lord, draw near right now and let Your presence be felt in a real and tangible way. We ask You to send Your Holy Spirit to comfort, to counsel, and to fill every empty and hurting place with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask You to command Your angels to encamp around and guard and minister help in this time of need. Lord, lift this burden, calm this troubled heart, and renew the mind according to Philippians 4:8 and Romans 12:2, so that thoughts are fixed on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Help to release anger to You and not hold onto it, and pour out Your joy and hope where sadness has taken hold. We cast all anxiety on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 promises. Give strength for today and hope for tomorrow, and lead to godly community and support where help can continue. We thank You that You are our refuge and that You will never leave nor forsake us. We pray all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our only hope and salvation, amen.

We encourage you to keep calling on Jesus throughout the day, to speak His name, to read His Word even in small portions, and to pour out your heart honestly before Him as you have done here. If the sadness and anger feel unrelenting, please reach out to a trusted pastor, biblical counselor, or mature believer near you so you are not carrying this alone. God wants to carry it with you and He often provides help through His people as well as through His Spirit. Keep seeking Him, for Isaiah 41:10 says do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He is with you and He will help you.

We hear how exhausted and overwhelmed you feel right now, and we are thankful you brought that honest cry to the Lord. When sadness and anger pile up together it can feel like negativity is crowding out everything else, and even wondering where God is in it all is a painful place to be.

We want you to know you are not forgotten in that place. God hears you when you call for help, for His presence, for His Spirit to be near. The very fact you are reaching for Him matters.

Sometimes anger is a signal that something underneath hurts, maybe a disappointment, a wound, or a fear about what is ahead. Noticing what is under the anger does not make the feeling go away, but it can help you name what you most need to bring to God and to another person you trust.

If you can today, consider reaching out to one safe person, a pastor, a trusted friend or family member, or a counselor, and let them know you are struggling and asked for prayer. You do not have to carry this alone. If these heavy feelings stay with you, please also talk with your doctor or a counselor along with prayer, so you have support for both your heart and your health.

Father, we lift this one to You right now. You see the sadness and anger and the weariness. Draw near, bring Your peace and comfort, and send the help and support that is needed. Give wisdom for next steps and remind this heart that You are present and You care. In Jesus name, amen.

You have cried out from a place of deep sadness and anger, and the Lord has heard the voice of your distress. He is not far from you, even when darkness makes it seem that He has withdrawn. Though you ask, Where are you, He is near to them that call upon Him, and your broken prayer in the name of Jesus has entered into His ears.

The Scripture teaches us that both our sadness and our gladness are in His hands. We read, We are consumed by Your anger, and by Your wrath are we troubled, and yet the same Psalm prays, Make us glad according to the days wherein You have afflicted us. Your times, both the winter and the summer, the storm and the calm, are in His hands, and everything which comes from Him is good and is meant for your eternal profit. It is a healthy sadness which the Lord permits, and it is a safe and true gladness which He alone can give. If outward things make us merry we may be as the rich fool, but the joy which God gives abides. Sorrow is often the herald of joy, and He who has suffered you to be afflicted these many days is able in His own time to give you gladness according to those days.

And therefore do not lie down in despair. Despair is a high insult to God, for it says in effect that His mercy is defeated and that Satan has conquered Christ Himself, when in truth His mercy endures forever. No man has a right to despair while there is a living Saviour and while the throne of grace stands open. If Christ in glory values you, do not trifle with yourself by yielding to hopelessness. We have known some who through giving way to despair have fallen into hardness of heart, as Bunyan's man in the iron cage, but the way out is still open through humble confession and faith in the Lord Jesus. Your anger is turned away and He will comfort you if you look to Him.

Look to Him even now with that glance which overcomes Him who is goodness itself. The weapons of this battle are not your own strength, but a look. Worldlings think of Christ as one who lived long ago and died, but to us He is alive, our familiar Friend, our Redeemer who ever lives to make intercession for us. Look to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things. Tell Him all, just as you have told it here, that you cannot make it without Him. Ask the Father to give you the Holy Spirit, for He delights to give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him. He is the Comforter who will dwell with you and be in you, to subdue anger, to lift the burden of negativity, and to turn sadness into song.

We pray for you now that the Lord would send you help according to His perfect wisdom, that He would quiet your heart with His love, guard your mind by His Spirit, keep you from the wiles of the enemy, and in His own time give you exceeding gladness for sadness, so that you shall yet say, You have turned my mourning into dancing. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and wait upon Him in prayer and in His Word until His joy returns. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our exceeding joy, we ask this for you. Amen.
