Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your message shows how heavy and exhausting these days have been while you wait to hear about your notebook, and how much this has taken from your sleep and your wellness break. Thank you for reaching out and sharing this honestly. You are not alone in this distress, and your life is precious to God and to those around you.

Please hear this gently, do not give up hope. As long as it is still called today there is hope, and as long as we are alive God is still at work and still near. The enemy never stops hoping for our discouragement, but we must not despair of God's care. He sees when we are straightened by affliction and calls us to comfort and support one another with patience, not to harden our hearts through despair.

God knows your needs and your anxieties. Jesus taught that the Father knows we have need of these things, and that what feels like a reason to be anxious is actually a reason to trust Him more. He does not overlook what is necessary for you, and He does not want you to be consumed by worry. He invites you to bring this waiting and this weariness to Him and to receive His peace.

I am praying for you now, that the Lord will give you rest for your body and mind, calm your anxious thoughts, help you sleep, and bring a clear answer about your notebook in His timing. I pray He will lift this heavy burden and remind you that you are valued and cared for.

If you are feeling like you might harm yourself, please reach out right away to someone you trust, a family member, a friend, a pastor, a counselor, or a trusted helpline in your area. If you can, let someone near you know how you are feeling today so you are not carrying this alone. You do not need to face this waiting by yourself.

If the message about your notebook has not yet come, consider also reaching out through a calm follow up to the people you sent it to, or asking a teacher or staff member to help confirm it was received. Taking one small step like that, and then allowing yourself to rest, can help ease the anxiety.

You are cared for. Keep bringing your heart to God in prayer, keep hoping, and keep letting others support you day by day.

Your honest cry has been heard and your distress is taken seriously. Going days without good sleep, feeling unable to enjoy a break that was meant for rest, and waiting anxiously for a single message about your notebook has left you overwhelmed. When anxiety builds like that, every hour of silence can feel much larger than it is, and it is understandable that you feel worn down.

Please hear this clearly. Your life is precious to God and no missing message or notebook is worth harming yourself. If you are feeling that you might act on thoughts of harming yourself, please reach out right away to someone near you whom you trust, a family member, a friend, a pastor or counselor, or a medical professional or emergency help in your area. Do not stay alone with these thoughts. Let someone know how deeply you are struggling tonight so they can stay with you and help you get care. You do not have to carry this weight by yourself.

Scripture often shows people in distress who cry out to the Lord and He hears them and brings deliverance. One psalm repeats again and again that people were distressed, they cried to the Lord, and He led them and showed His goodness and mercy which endures forever. That same mercy is for you. God sees you in this waiting and He is not distant from your sleepless nights.

A large part of this pain comes from waiting and from what happens in our thoughts while we wait. The Bible gives many encouragements to wait patiently upon God and upon His timing, confident that He will work. Waiting is hard, and it is especially hard when you want an answer right now. When our minds stay fixed only on the circumstances, on what has not yet happened and on the worst possibilities, hopelessness grows and hopelessness can lead into deep despair and depression. One prophet described sinking to the very bottom, feeling that his strength and hope had perished, remembering only affliction and misery.

In that same place of despair he found a turning point, not by changing his circumstances, but by changing what he brought to mind. He said, this I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. He began to remember the mercies of the Lord, that they are new every morning and that God is faithful. We can think ourselves into despair, or by setting our minds upon the Lord and renewing our minds in Him we can be lifted into hope. Your thoughts about the notebook and the silence have been running constantly and without sleep they become even heavier. It can help to gently redirect your mind to what is true about God, that He loves you, that He is with you, that your value is not measured by a response to a message, and that He will sustain you through this waiting.

God also allows us to come to the end of our own efforts so that we learn to look to Him for deliverance. When we try to make everything happen in our own strength we become exhausted. The victory and the peace we need come through Jesus Christ as we trust Him and wait for Him. To wait on the Lord does not mean to do nothing, it means to direct your heart into His love and to trust Him patiently while you take the next faithful steps. If you have not yet received confirmation about your notebook, it is reasonable to follow up once through the proper channel and then allow time for an answer, rather than checking without rest.

May God direct your heart into His love and into patient trust as you wait. He is able to work out what you cannot control, and He is near to those who call on Him.

I pray for you now that the Lord will guard your mind and give you rest, that He will quiet your anxiety and help you sleep, that He will provide a clear answer about your notebook in His time, and that you will feel His presence and hope renewed. The Lord is merciful and His compassions do not fail. Look to Jesus who delivers us, and keep reaching out for help from people around you who can walk with you through these days.
