Lord, you said, "Pray without ceasing" and I have found comfort in offering up my prayers and trials to you. I find myself praying in every thought and action. Even when life becomes more difficult, and there appears to be no help in sight, I know you are there. Thank you for your infinite love. In spite of the bills piling up, a leaky roof, troubles at work, sick family members, loved ones gone astray, and my loneliness, I am comforted in your presence. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
