Lord, we need strength...

Lord, thank you for listening to our prayers. Lord, I need your strength. Tomorrow I will be leaving and will have to be apart from my husband. Do not let sorrow consume me. Please provide me the fortitude so that I can endure this process. I want to be strong for him, especially now since he is sad due to academic difficulties. May the Holy Spirit provide him the wisdom he needs to do better, so that he may complete his studies successfully. Allow me to provide him the support he needs through the distance. May our marriage be held together by your grace, my Lord. Do not allow us to distance ourselves. Please protect us from those who are trying to harm us, especially those who are preventing me from getting my degree, something which I critically need for my job search. Lord, please soften the heart of those evaluating my job applications. May they be able to see my potential, and may I be able to demonstrate it to them. My circumstances are complicated if I were to get granted an interview, please allow for the potential employer to understand that. Do not let that be a cause to deter them from offering me a job opportunity. Lord, bless all those who are trying to help me. Bless all those who are struggling as I am. Provide us the comfort we seek, and the patience to wait and act according to your will. Your time is perfect, my Lord. Please allow me to see and understand that. Strip me away from my despair, and allow me to submerge myself in whatever it is you want me to do next. Guide and heal me, my Lord. Please bring my husband closer to you as well. Bless all those who take from their time to pray for others. Amen.
