Holy Spirit 💨⚡️ speak in Many Ways Heb 1:1-2, abiding in You & Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7, abiding in Your love John 15:10

🙌LORD, we thank You that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, yes, even forever, Heb 13:8... We ask for The Holy Spirit to speak to us in every way Heb 1:1-2, by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7, abiding in Your love, John 15:10, Your Word as a lamp to our feet, Ps 119:105, To speak according to the Law and The Testimony, Isaiah 8:20, 🧎🏽‍♂️ Holy Spirit Visions while Awake ⚡️ Dreams 💤 While Sleeping, Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9... 🧎🏽‍♂️Father, we come as little children in faith, asking the goal of our instruction, Love from a pure heart, a sincere faith and a blameless conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34.

We agree, Matt 18:19, with this husband, his wife, children, and family AND all who pray, even the whole site and "all flesh," Joel 2:28-32, Acts 2:14-17 -- You give warning dreams, as it is written in Job 33:14, "For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people, as they slumber in their beds, 16 He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword." Again, as with the affairs concerning our father, Abraham, Gen 20:3, like him we are fully persuaded You are able to fulfill what You promise, Rom 4:21. Pour out Your Holy Spirit on her, as prophesied in in Joel 2:28, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old will dream dreams, your youth will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days," Joel 2:28-29, c.f. Acts 2:17-18. Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times on those saved Matt 1:20, Matt 2:12, and unsaved alike, Gen 20:3, Gen 31:24, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, until present, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted," Job 42:2. Thank You that we actually have been convinced "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27. Keep her, him, and us from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. Thank You in in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20...

We join with you in this beautiful desire to abide in Christ and to have His words abide in us, and we thank God with you that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, Heb 13:8. We agree with you that we want to abide in Him and abide in His love by keeping His commandments, John 15:10, and that if we remain in Him and His words remain in us, we may ask whatever we wish and it will be done for us, John 15:7.

We love your heart to seek the Holy Spirit to speak in many ways, and we hold this desire together with the full counsel of Scripture. God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, has at the end of these days spoken to us by His Son, Heb 1:1-2. That final and sufficient Word is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path, Psalm 119:105, and we are called to the law and to the testimony, Isaiah 8:20, for if we do not speak according to His Word, there is no dawn for us. In these days we have the completed Scriptures, given by inspiration of God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, and we do not go beyond what is written.

We also know that God is sovereign and He is able to speak in dreams and visions as He has done, as in Job 33:14-18 where God speaks now one way, now another, in a dream, in a vision of the night, to turn man from his purpose and keep him from pride, and as poured out at Pentecost as prophesied in Joel 2:28-29 and fulfilled in Acts 2:17-18. Yet we are also warned to test the spirits whether they are of God, 1 John 4:1, and to know that even dreams and visions must be tested against Scripture and never add to or contradict it, for the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets, 1 Corinthians 14:32, and God will not speak contrary to His own holy Word. We gently encourage you and all who pray with you not to seek an experience, a dream, or a vision above seeking Christ Himself and His Word, but to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, Matthew 6:33, and to let every impression, dream, and prophecy be weighed carefully in humble submission to the Bible, with a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith, 1 Timothy 1:5.

We rejoice that you come as little children in faith, for of such is the Kingdom of heaven, Matthew 19:14, and that you look to Jesus who lives to make intercession for us, Heb 7:25, and who is at the right hand of God interceding for us, Romans 8:34. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We thank God you have come in that precious name.

We lift this husband, his wife, their children and all their family before the Father, and we ask for their marriage to be strengthened and kept holy as God ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:6, and we pray their home would be built on abiding in Christ and His love. We pray for all who pray with us and for all flesh that God would pour out mercy and draw many to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and we agree together according to Matthew 18:19 that God would keep you all from temptation and deliver you from evil, Matthew 6:13, and guard you from the evil one, John 17:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and from deception, falsehood, and the pride that Job 33:17 warns against.

Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ and ask that You would deepen our abiding in You, that Your Word would dwell richly in us, Colossians 3:16, that we would walk in obedience to Your love, that You would guide us by Your Spirit into all truth, John 16:13, and that You would grant wisdom to discern what is truly from You. If in Your sovereignty You choose to give a warning dream, a vision while awake, or a prophetic encouragement, we ask that it would be clearly from You, unmistakably aligned with Scripture, and used to turn us from wrongdoing, to preserve us from the pit, and to make us more like Christ. We ask above all that we would hear Your voice most clearly through the Scriptures, that we would not be led by noise and pollution of the world but by Your still small voice through Your Word. Keep this family and all of us from sin, from lies, from fear, from evil people and deception, and establish our steps in Your Word. We thank You in advance, trusting that nothing will be impossible with God, Luke 1:37, and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, Ephesians 3:20, and that every promise of God is Yes in Christ, 2 Corinthians 1:20. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our Amen, the faithful and true Witness, Revelation 3:14, amen.

We hear the deep hunger in your prayer to stay close to Jesus and to be led by His Spirit in everyday life, and to see your whole family and all who pray with you drawn close to Him too. That desire to abide, to remain in His love and let His words remain in you, is a beautiful place to stay.

We share your confidence that the Holy Spirit is our Helper and Counselor who is present with us. We have found He works both quietly and clearly, teaching us truth through Scripture, giving inner nudges of wisdom and direction, bringing comfort, and slowly forming more of Christlike love, joy and peace in us. What He shows us will always line up with what He has already said in His Word and will bear that fruit of love.

A simple rhythm that has helped many of us as we seek His guidance, including when we have strong impressions or dreams, is to keep an unhurried time each day in the Word and in prayer, and then bring anything that stands out into the light of Scripture and to a couple of mature believers you trust. Writing down what you sense and praying it through together can bring clarity and keep you grounded as you seek His will.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for drawing near when we seek You. Keep this brother and his wife, children and family abiding in Christ, growing in discernment and wisdom, and guarded from confusion and deception. Fill them with Your peace and guide them step by step according to Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer breathes a sincere desire to abide in Christ and to have His words abide in you, and for that we give thanks to God. To love His Word, to desire His love, to ask that His will be done in your family, these are marks that the Spirit of God is already at work in you, for without Him we grope like blind men in the dark, but in His light we see light.

We rejoice with you that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever, and that He ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him. That truth is your sure anchor. The Holy Spirit is given to us not to lead us away from Christ, but to glorify Him. He receives of the things of Christ and shows them unto us. When you are dealing with the things of Christ, you are on Holy Spirit ground. A single word of Christ, set in the light of the Holy Spirit, shines like a fixed star with light that is never dim, and there is no comfort like a sight of Christ, His precious blood and His resurrection.

You ask that the Spirit would speak in many ways, by dreams and visions and prophecy. Hear what the Scriptures teach us. God indeed spoke in times past in diverse manners, but now has spoken unto us by His Son, and the Spirit goes in no sense and in no respect beyond what Christ has spoken and what Christ and His apostles have taught. Anything beyond that teaching must be not of God but of man. The Spirit still speaks, for He is a living and active Agent, and His unvarying utterance is, Today hear His voice, but He speaks in and through the Word He inspired. As you have rightly quoted, we must speak according to the law and to the testimony, and the Word is a lamp unto our feet. Dreams and impressions must ever be tried by that lamp, lest we be led by noise and pollution of the world or by our own hearts.

Therefore we would encourage you to seek most earnestly not a new vision, but a clearer sight of Christ in the Scriptures. Praying in the Holy Spirit means praying in His power and in a holy frame, with the heart truly feeling what the mouth utters. It is the Spirit who helps our infirmities and who makes our prayers to be more than a solemn sound upon a thoughtless tongue. And take heed that we grieve not the Holy Spirit, whereby we are sealed unto the day of redemption. He is the Spirit of holiness, and He withdraws in measure when we walk not according to the Gospel. Unholiness of life grieves Him, and love of the world excites His holy jealousy. If we would have His abiding comfort and guidance, let us walk in holiness, in much prayer, in frequent fellowship with earnest saints, and in daily abiding in the Word.

We will pray with you, and for the husband, wife, children and household you have named, and for all who seek the Lord with you.

O Father, we thank You for Your Son who is the same yesterday, today and forever, and for Your Word which endures. Put Your Spirit within us, and cause us to walk in Your statutes. Teach us to abide in Christ, and let His words abide in us richly, that we may ask according to Your will and abide in Your love. Show us the things of Christ and glorify Him in our hearts, for that is the true comfort of the Holy Spirit. Keep us from temptation, from sin and error, from deception and from the evil one, and lead us by Your Word which is light. Grant that we may not seek signs for their own sake, but seek Christ Himself, and being found in Him, find all we need. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and intercedes for us, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We give thanks with you that your heart desires to abide in Christ and to have His words abide in you, and to abide in His love. This is the true way that the Holy Spirit draws near, when we continue in prayer and in charity and keep His commandments, and then His Word becomes a lamp to our feet as you have prayed from Psalm 119.

You have asked how God speaks. The Scripture teaches us that God spoke in former times in many ways through the prophets, but now has spoken to us by His Son, Hebrews 1:1-2, and that Son is the same yesterday and today and forever, Hebrews 13:8. The prophet Joel foretold, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams, Joel 2:28. This promise was fulfilled not upon the twelve alone but upon the hundred and twenty gathered together in prayer, and Peter declared it on the day of Pentecost. Before the cross the gift was withheld and grace was stinted, but after Christ was glorified and our enmity was taken away, the Holy Spirit was shed forth abundantly as an earnest of our inheritance, given to all who believe, so that we might have not only the Spirit for ourselves but the power to walk as children of light.

For this reason we do not need to run after every voice or every dream as if we have no sure word. God is able to warn in a dream in the night to turn a person from wrongdoing, as Job 33 teaches, and He did so for the righteous and even for those outside the covenant, yet the test remains what Isaiah said, to the law and to the testimony. If a vision or dream does not agree with the Word of God it is not from Him. The Holy Spirit will never contradict the Son whom He glorifies, nor lead away from holiness, love from a pure heart, a sincere faith and a blameless conscience, 1 Timothy 1:5.

So we pray with you and agree according to Matthew 18:19 for this husband and his wife and their children and household, and for all who seek the Lord. May the Lord keep you abiding in Christ, rooted in Scripture, and guarded from temptation, deception, fear and the evil one. May He grant you discernment to try every spirit, to hold fast to what is good, and to be kept from pride and from the pit. We thank Him that Jesus lives to make intercession for us, Hebrews 7:25, and that nothing is impossible with God for those who come to Him through Jesus alone, who is the only way of salvation. May the Spirit who is the earnest of what is to come fill you with power to live in faithful love within the marriage covenant as God ordained, and to walk in obedience and peace until He brings you to the full inheritance.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
