LORD, we ask for The Holy Spirit to speak to us in every way Heb 1:1-2, by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7, abiding in Your love, John 15:10, Your Word as a lamp to our feet, Ps 119:105, To speak according to the Law and The Testimony, Isaiah 8:20, Holy Spirit Visions while Awake ️ Dreams While Sleeping, Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9... Father, we come as little children in faith, asking the goal of our instruction, Love from a pure heart, a sincere faith and a blameless conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34.


We agree, Matt 18:19, with this husband for his wife, children, and family -- You give warning dreams, as it is written in Job 33:14, "For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people, as they slumber in their beds, 16 He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword." Again, as with the affairs concerning our father, Abraham, Gen 20:3, like him we are fully persuaded You are able to fulfill what You promise, Rom 4:21. Pour out Your Holy Spirit on her, as prophesied in in Joel 2:28, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old will dream dreams, your youth will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days," Joel 2:28-29, c.f. Acts 2:17-18. Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times on those saved Matt 1:20, Matt 2:12, and unsaved alike, Gen 20:3, Gen 31:24, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, until present, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things,"Job 42:2, That "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27. Keep her, him, and us from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. We join with you in this beautiful and humble prayer as a husband interceding for his wife, children and family, and we thank God for a husband who loves his wife as Christ loved the church and seeks to lead his household in abiding in Christ Eph 5:25.

We love your heart to abide in Him and have His words abide in you John 15:7, to abide in His love John 15:10, and to have His word as a lamp to your feet and a light to your path Psalm 119:105. This is the right and safe foundation, for God indeed spoke in many and various ways in times past, but in these last days has spoken to us by His Son Heb 1:1-2, and we are to speak according to the law and the testimony, for if they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them Isa 8:20.

We affirm with you that God is sovereign and able to speak in dreams and visions, for it is written, For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed, then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction, that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man Job 33:14-17, and we remember how God warned Joseph in a dream Matt 2:12 and Abimelech Gen 20:3, and how He promises, It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions Joel 2:28, which was poured out at Pentecost Acts 2:17. We believe He is the same yesterday, today, and forever Heb 13:8, and that with God all things are possible Mark 10:27, and that nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37, and that Is Yahweh's hand waxed short Num 11:23, for His hand is not shortened that it cannot save Isa 59:1.

Yet we also gently encourage you to keep the Word of God as the supreme and final test of every dream, vision, and prophecy, for we must test all things and hold fast what is good 1 Thess 5:21 and test the spirits whether they are of God 1 John 4:1, because even Satan can disguise himself and deception is great in these last days Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9. Visions and dreams, when truly from God, will never contradict Scripture, will always exalt Christ, and will always turn us from wrongdoing and keep us from pride to preserve us from the pit Job 33:17-18. We do not seek the experience itself, but we seek the Giver, abiding in Christ, and if in His wisdom He chooses to give a warning dream or a vision to your wife or family to confirm His will in Christ Jesus, we thank Him for it, but our confidence rests first in the more sure word of prophecy and the written Word.

We also rejoice that you come as little children seeking love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith 1 Tim 1:5, and that you come through Jesus, for He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them Heb 7:25 and He is at the right hand of God interceding for us Rom 8:34. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and we thank you for praying in Jesus' name, the Amen, the faithful and true witness Rev 3:14.

We pray together with you in agreement Matt 18:19.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace, abiding in Your Son and asking that Your words abide in us. Pour out Your Spirit upon this husband, his beloved wife, their children and their whole household. Cause Your Word to dwell richly in them, to be a lamp to their feet, and to keep them in Your love as they keep Your commandments. Grant them discernment to try every spirit and to hold fast to what is good, and to speak and live according to Your law and testimony.

If it is Your will, speak to this wife and family in dreams while sleeping and visions while awake, as You did for Joseph and others, to warn them, to turn them from wrongdoing, to keep them from pride and from the pit, and to make Your will in Christ Jesus unmistakably clear. Let any dream or vision be clearly from You, confirmed by Scripture, filled with Your peace and not fear, and bearing the fruit of righteousness. Keep them from temptation, from evil, from wrongdoing, from lies and a lying lip Zeph 3:13, from fear, from evil men 2 Thess 3:2, from deception and from the evil one Matt 6:13, John 17:15. Guard them by Your power 2 Thess 3:3. We ask that You make this marriage strong, that this husband and wife would love each other faithfully as You designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and that their children would be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mark 11:24, for without faith it is impossible to please You, for he who comes to God must believe that You exist and that You are a rewarder of those who seek You Heb 11:6. Let Your perfect will be done in this family, to Your glory, and let all Your promises be Yes and Amen in Christ 2 Cor 1:20. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear your heart as a husband and father wanting your wife, your children and your whole family to stay close to Jesus, to hear His voice clearly and to be kept from evil and deception. That desire to abide in Him and have His words abide in you is a beautiful place to pray from, and we join you in it.

We love how you are asking for the Holy Spirit to lead your family in every way. In our own walk we have found it helps to hold together what God has joined together in the Spirit's work - His power to guide and gift us, His truth that never pulls us away from Scripture, and His fruit of love that makes us more like Christ. When those stay in balance, we are less likely to be swayed by the noise around us and more able to recognize His gentle leading, whether that comes in a quiet prompting, through His Word, or through the counsel of other faithful believers.

One simple next step that may help is to keep a steady, unhurried time together as a family in prayer and in the Word, sharing what you sense God is saying and testing it together against Scripture and with a trusted pastor or mature believer. That shared abiding often brings clarity and peace over time.

Father, we lift this husband, his wife and children to You. Draw each of them closer to Jesus, keep them rooted in Your Word and Your love, and guard them from temptation, fear and the enemy's lies. Give them wisdom to discern Your leading and unity as they seek You together. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing to abide in Christ and to have His words abide in you is itself a gracious work of the Holy Spirit, for until the Holy Spirit visits a man he is dead in trespasses and sins and cannot so desire. We join you in thanking God that He has not left us to the noise and pollution of the world, but has given us His Word as a lamp to our feet and has spoken at last by His Son, as it is written that in times past God spoke in divers manners by the prophets, but hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son.

Take comfort in this, that the blessed office of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Christ. He will receive of Mine, saith the Lord Jesus, and shall show it unto you. When you are dealing with the things of Christ you are on Holy Spirit ground. He does not lead us to magnify outward rites or curious speculations, nor to chase after science or novelty, but to see Christ more clearly, to love Him more dearly, and to be conformed to Him. Therefore we pray that the Spirit who has made your narrow heart His palace, though it be but a cottage, will dwell there continually and take the things of Christ and make them precious to you.

You ask concerning dreams and visions and prophetic warnings. We know that God is sovereign and can speak in a dream, in a vision of the night, as He did with Abraham and with others, and that He poured out His Spirit at Pentecost according to Joel. Yet remember the word, To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them. The Holy Spirit says, Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. His ordinary and sure voice to us now is in the Holy Scriptures applied with power to the soul. Cry mightily unto God that you may not grieve the Holy Spirit by unbelief or by turning aside to seek signs above the Word, but that you may pray in the Holy Spirit, through the Holy Spirit, in His power, with His help telling you how to pray. For without the Holy Spirit there is no life or force in prayer, and with Him the weakest endeavor will prosper because He pours His life into us.

We agree with you according to Matthew 18:19 and bring this husband, his wife, his children and all his household before the throne of grace. We ask the Father, for Christ's sake who ever liveth to make intercession for us, that He would cause you all to abide in His love and to keep His commandments, that love from a pure heart and from a sincere faith and from a blameless conscience, which is the goal of our instruction, may abound in your home. May the Lord keep you all from temptation and from evil and from the deceitfulness of sin and from the evil one, and preserve you from pride and from wrongdoing, and deliver you from fear and from deception. May He teach you by His Spirit alone, for those who will not be taught of Him must remain foolish, and may He seal you as His own, that you grieve Him not but walk according to the gospel in holiness of life.

We thank Him in advance, believing that He is able to do all things and that nothing shall be impossible with God, and that He is able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus. May He cause His Word to dwell richly in you, and may the Holy Spirit glorify Christ in your midst day by day, till you are kept from the pit and presented blameless in Him.
