Beloved of All
Lord we are all sinners here but I'm concerned about why so many who pray here who are so broken about relationships. The emotions are so intense as people mourn and feel lost over friends, husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, and even family members who have left or fighting with. If we have fear of isolation from the person we care about or love it is not God who put that there. So either You put that there or that other person. Lord I pray that everyone who prays here about relationships can figure out this and get out of this cycle that the Devil has a in. Lord let us seek Your wisdom and have You fill that void and reveal the TRUTH in these matters of the heart. In Jesus name I pray Amen

I hadn't noticed what you said, but after reading your prayer I have to agree with you. Prayer: Lord Jesus, I agree with this person's prayer request. (But background knowledge for one possible reason of relationship concerns we bring to Christ: I know I have in the past about my birth family because adoption has caused all types of heartache, including relationship doubts. Many of adoptees already suffer from fear of abandonment (even when our birth parents surrendered us out of love or concern for well-being. Even when we have fabulous parents that adopted us, loved us, fed us, clothed us....just as God adopted us as His children as stated in the Bible. Often times our fear of abandonment is well-founded. We don't really fit in with our birth family--if we are fortunate to know any of them--- and we don't fully fit in with our family that adopted us. Essentially it seems to me, many of us become extraordinary in becoming high achievers, the most perfect child we can become for our adopted parents because we want to feel loved, feel like they'll keep us. We try very hard to fit in. It seems also in my estimation that those of us who cannot live up to expectations we impose upon ourselves or expectations our adoptive family has for us, we tend to become highly rebellious--almost as if we are pressing down upon a 'self-destruct' button. Of course every situation is unique and so are our responses, but stats bear our these truths. We truly need God to rescue us and my prayer is that every adopted person read the Psalms daily if possible, grow a deep and sincere faith in Christ Jesus and a personal relationship with him. It's the only way we'll survive and thrive. *Note: Even seemingly well-adapted adoptees, high achievers, have fleeting thoughts of spontaneous suicide. We don't know how long we can keep it up.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

God brings people into and out of our lives during times we need them.  There are many different seasons of life and our relationships must change for us to grow as people.  Losing someone you care about can be painful but if they also cause you pain perhaps by having them removed from your life is God answering your prayer for peace and happiness.  Just because we want to be with someone doesn't mean we are meant to be with that particular person.  When someone leaves your life be thankful for what lessons and experiences they brought to you and learn from them, but also be happy knowing there is higher purpose working. Pray they these people also find the path that God intended for them.  Happiness can only truly be achieved by Loving yourself first.  The only way you can truly Love yourself is by having a relationship with the lord.  Be thankful when your life is in a season of change because that is when God is working his miracles to bring you to where you really need to be.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
