We join you in this beautiful prayer for cleansing and renewal and we thank God for your humble heart that seeks to be washed and made clean before Him.

Your cry for the precious blood of Jesus is the very heart of the gospel, for it is only through His blood that we are cleansed and forgiven. The Scripture assures us, But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. We also join you in praying Psalm 51:10, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. And Psalm 51:2, Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin. God hears a contrite heart and delights to create in you that clean heart and steadfast spirit you are asking for.

Father God Almighty, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your mercy and for the precious blood of Jesus that washes us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We confess our sins before You and ask You to forgive us and to create in this dear one a clean heart and to renew a steadfast spirit within. Fill them today with Your Holy Spirit and with spiritual strength to resist temptation and to walk in holiness. We ask for Your blessing upon their work this day. Grant them favor, peace, and endurance, and provide the help and coverage that is needed. Let their work be done heartily as unto You. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. We hear how much today matters to you, both the inward desire for cleansing and the very practical need for help and coverage at work and grace to do your work well. God sees both, and He is near as you bring them to Him.

One simple thing that helps on days like this is to keep your morning prayer close at hand. When pressure rises at work, pause for just a moment right where you are and quietly turn that same cry back to the Lord, asking for steadiness for the next hour or the next task. It keeps you walking with Him through the day instead of carrying it all alone.

Yes, Lord, thank You for Your Promises in 1 Jn 1:9 and the example of David who confessed our chief error is sinning against The LORD, Ps 51:4 -- for coveting his neighbor's wife, adultery with Bathsheba, murdering Uriah and bearing false witness in the cover-up were all breaking the commands of Yahweh as outlined in Exodus 20:1-17. Thank You for the sprinkling of the blood and the knowledge of salvation by the forgivness of sins, Lk 1:77, and repentance, Lk 24:46-47, so times of refreshing may come from Your presence, Acts 3:19-20. Your prayer for cleansing and a clean heart is heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who delights to show mercy.

There is forgiveness with God, and it is a divine forgiveness. As the prophet declares, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. It is surprising forgiveness, complete forgiveness, without any buts or reserves. When you make a clean breast in confession, He gives you a clean breast by absolution. Through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, sin becomes as a nonentity, gone and cleansed, for that blood cleanses from all sin everyone who believes in Him.

You have prayed as David prayed, Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. This is the very promise of the covenant of grace. The Lord says, Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you and ye shall be clean. He does not wait for you to make yourself clean and then come to Him, but He comes to you and makes you clean. He does not ask you to find the purification, but He brings it Himself. He gives a new heart and puts a new spirit within you, and that work He accomplishes fully. Though your heart may feel hard and defiled, and though you still find an evil heart of unbelief within, the fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness is still open, the heart of the Son of God Himself set abroach that the cleansing stream might flow.

We also join you in praying for spiritual strength for this day at work. The joy of the Lord shall be your strength. He not only forgave you at the first, but He continues daily to forgive, and His forgiveness is an eternal forgiveness. As you go from strength to strength, look still to Jesus who is higher still. He will sustain you in the duties of this day.

Your prayer for cleansing and for a clean heart is heard, and I join my voice with yours before the Lord who is merciful and ready to forgive.

You have prayed well, for you ask not for outward washing only but for inward purity. The prophet says, Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, and again, Wash your heart from wickedness. God does not look first to the washing of the body, but to the purity of the soul. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. To be clean through the word of Christ, to put away wickedness from the soul and to be cleansed in conscience, this is the true washing that His precious blood provides. When we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, not because we have earned it, but by grace through His sacrifice.

So continue to cry out to Him even as you have done, for He hears the heart that calls upon Him in truth. Turn from every sin that defiles the soul, not only in outward deed but in thought and desire, and perfect holiness in the fear of God. Keep your heart enlarged by love for Him and walk in His light, and the blood of Jesus will keep cleansing you.

I pray with you now. Father Almighty, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, wash this Your servant with the blood of Christ, forgive all sin, create a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within.
