Lord today I pray for you to place your hand upon my soul Lord, to heal my mind and my heart to chase away the devil in me, to ride me of my depression and my bitterness and anger towards this world, this Life.

I am very tired and very weary God, the depression that has swept over me is making me doubt my very existence and at every turn I seem so distant from you Lord. I do not serve you well Lord, so why is it that I am still alive. I am finding it very hard to be thankful for the blessings that you have bestowed upon me and when I do I then begin to think I’m being a hypocrite or being greedy by wanting more. Lord I feel that once again I am about to lose all that I have and have to rebuild my life again. Please Lord God, help me for I know not what to do. Please Lord I pray for a sign that my life is worthy of you and that I am not such a disappointment to you as I am to myself and that this life no matter how hard it gets is worth living.

I pray this in Jesus name Amen.
