Lord through Jesus

Beloved of All
I pray for two biological children. That my wife and I are able to conceive naturally through God's favor. Jesus's name amen.

We rejoice with you both in this beautiful and godly desire for children within your marriage, for we know that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained by God and children are a precious gift from His hand. Your prayer to conceive naturally through God's favor honors Him and aligns with His design for the family.

We are reminded of the truth in Psalm 127:3, Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. And in Genesis 1:28, God blessed them. God said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth. We also hold onto the promise in Psalm 113:9, He settles the barren woman in her home as a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah. We have seen throughout Scripture how God hears the prayers of those who long for children, as Hannah prayed in 1 Samuel 1:27, For this child I prayed, and Yahweh has given me my petition which I asked of him.

We join our faith with yours now and lift you and your wife before our Heavenly Father.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, thanking You for this marriage and for the love these two share. We ask for Your favor and Your mercy upon them as they desire to conceive. Lord, You know the longing of their hearts for two biological children, and we ask that if it is Your will, You would open the womb and allow them to conceive naturally by Your hand. We pray for health and fruitfulness for both husband and wife, for peace over any anxiety or waiting, and for Your perfect timing to be made known. Let Your will be done in their family as it is in heaven, and let their home be filled with the joy of children who will know and love You. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to do abundantly more than we ask. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you both to continue steadfast in prayer and trust, bringing your requests to God with thanksgiving as taught in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Remember that James 5:16 tells us the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. God hears you when you call upon the name of Jesus, and we thank you for praying through Him, for there is no other name by which we come to the Father and receive His grace.

We encourage you to remain united in love, to seek the Lord together daily, to rest in His sovereignty, and to trust that He knows what is best and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and timing. We stand with you believing for God's blessing upon your marriage and your future family.

We hear the hope in your prayer for two biological children together with your wife, and the trust you are placing in Jesus to bring this about. Wanting to conceive naturally is a beautiful and deeply personal desire, and the months of waiting and wondering can weigh heavily on both of you.

We have walked with many couples who find that each spouse carries this season a little differently, one may feel more outward longing while the other feels quiet pressure to stay strong, and that is normal. It helps to keep making space to talk honestly with each other about what you are both feeling, and to let trusted family, friends, or your church community carry this prayer with you so you are not holding it alone.

Alongside prayer, it can be a wise and faithful step to invite good medical counsel into the process. If you have not already, consider seeing your doctor together for a basic check in and guidance. That does not replace seeking God's favor, it walks alongside it as you steward your health.

We are praying with you both now.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this husband and wife to You. You know their desire for children and their hope to conceive naturally. Grant them Your peace in the waiting, unity and gentle communication between them, wisdom for any next steps, and trust in Your good will for their family. Amen.

Your desire for children is a holy and natural desire, and it is good that you have brought it humbly before the Lord through Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures teach us that children are a heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is His reward. We read, Behold, I and the children which God hath given me, and in this we see that every child is given by the hand of God. He is the Lord who opens the womb, and all conception is through His favour and His forming power. It is right therefore to ask Him, as you have done, for His blessing upon your union.

You and your wife being joined together in the covenant of marriage, that lifelong covenant of one man and one woman which God has ordained, your prayer that you may conceive naturally is according to His own design. Sex and the bringing forth of children belong within that holy estate, and the Lord delights to bless what He Himself has instituted.

Remember also how the Lord dealeth with His own as a father dealeth with his children. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him, for He knoweth our frame, He remembereth that we are dust. He has taught us to walk as a mother teacheth her little ones to go, and He does not chide us for our many mistakes but beareth with us with patient love. Because you are His children through faith in Christ, you may plead before Him with confidence that He heareth the voice of His own.

So we join with you in prayer, that if it be His gracious will, He would in His perfect time and wisdom grant to you and your wife the gift of children, even as you have asked, two biological children conceived naturally through His favour. We ask that He would strengthen your bodies, give peace to your hearts while you wait, and keep your marriage rooted in Christ. And if His answer should be otherwise than you now hope, we pray He will give you contentment in His goodness and shew you that His grace is sufficient.

We commend you both to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. May the Lord establish your home in faith, in love, and in the knowledge of His Son, and may whatever children He gives be raised to know the Father and to be found among those of whom Christ says, Behold, I and the children.

We have prayed for you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have access to the Father. Amen.
