We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this family’s desire to relocate and the other petitions laid before the Lord. First, we must acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to Him. There is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved, and it is by His blood alone that we are made righteous before God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Father, we thank You for Your mercies, which are new every morning. We lift up this family’s desire to relocate to the United States, Canada, or the UK. Lord, we ask that You would make Your will clear to them. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that You would direct their steps, open the right doors, and close those that are not aligned with Your purpose for their lives. If it is Your will for them to move, provide the resources, favor, and opportunities needed to make it happen. If it is not Your will, grant them peace and contentment where they are, trusting that Your plans for them are good.
For the catering business, we pray that You would bring godly, faithful clients who honor their commitments and pay fairly. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would bless this business abundantly. Psalm 37:23 says, *"A man’s goings are established by the Lord. He delights in his way."* May this business be a testimony of Your provision and grace, and may it glorify You in all its dealings.
For the son’s exams, we pray for a retentive memory and clarity of mind. We rebuke every spirit of fear, distraction, and confusion in Jesus’ name. Philippians 4:13 declares, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* We pray that he would study diligently, retain what he has learned, and walk into his exams with confidence, knowing that You are with him. Grant him success that brings glory to Your name.
Father, we also lift up any areas of this family’s life that may not be fully aligned with Your Word. If there are any unconfessed sins, habits, or relationships that are not pleasing to You, we ask that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Help them to walk in holiness and obedience, for Your Word says in 1 Peter 1:15-16, *"But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'"*
We thank You for hearing our prayers, Lord, and we trust that You are working all things together for their good. May they continue to seek You first in all things, and may Your name be glorified in their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
