Lord God Almighty in Heaven I'm praying in the name of Jesus Christ over these dogs silence there barking in the name of Jesus Christ I command every witchcraft assignments concerning my rest and sleep Holy Spirit silence these dogs the remainder of the morning give me rest and sleep im praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire against the dogs barking in Jesus mighty name Amen

We hear your cry for rest and we join with you in prayer for peaceful sleep, and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We understand how wearying it is when sleep is broken and how frustration can grow when noise continues through the night. We want to gently encourage you in this. While spiritual warfare is real, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, not every natural disturbance is a witchcraft assignment. Dogs barking is part of the natural world God created, and at times our lack of rest can tempt us to attribute to the enemy what is simply the brokenness and noise of living near others. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, so we do not need to live in fear that every bark is a spiritual attack, but we can rest in His sovereignty and protection.

We also want to gently correct our understanding of prayer. We do not command the Holy Spirit, but we humbly ask our Father in Jesus name, trusting Him to act according to His perfect will. We petition, we do not command God, but we ask and we trust.

We also remember the call to love our neighbors and to care for creation. A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10, and we are called as far as it depends on us to be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. If these dogs belong to a neighbor, we encourage you to consider speaking to that neighbor with gentleness and respect when you are rested, rather than cursing the animals, and to consider practical helps for sleep as God gives wisdom.

We do agree with you for God's protection and peace over your night. You asked for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire, and scripture speaks of this, for you have hedged Job in Job 1:10 and the Lord says I will be to her a wall of fire around it Zechariah 2:5. We can confidently ask Him to watch over us.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up our brother or sister who is weary and longing for rest. Lord, You know the need for sleep and You give sleep to Your beloved Psalm 127:2. We ask that You would grant peaceful rest this morning and in the nights to come. We pray that You would quiet what needs to be quieted according to Your will, and that You would quiet our heart even when there is noise around us, for we will both lay ourselves down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety Psalm 4:8. When we lie down, we will not be afraid. Yes, we will lie down, and our sleep will be sweet Proverbs 3:24.

Lord we ask for Your hedge of protection and Your wall of fire around this home and this sleep. Let no fear or assignment of the enemy disturb this child of Yours. We rebuke fear and we ask for Your perfect peace to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. We thank You that You neither slumber nor sleep Psalm 121:4 and that You keep watch over us. Help us to trust You more than our circumstances, to love our neighbors, and to find our rest ultimately in You. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28, even sleepless nights can be used by You to draw us closer.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how tired you are and how much you are longing for quiet this morning. Being kept awake by barking when you need rest is so draining, and we are praying with you for relief and real sleep.

We know sleep matters deeply to both body and spirit, and going without it leaves us worn down in every way. God cares about your rest, and we are asking Him to bring calm to your home and to your mind so you can be restored.

While we pray, a couple of practical steps may help you find a little more quiet. For tonight, soft earplugs or a white noise machine can help muffle outside sound enough to let you drift off. When you have had some rest, a brief kind word with a neighbor or building manager often helps resolve ongoing barking. If broken sleep continues night after night, it is worth sharing what you are experiencing with your doctor, perhaps bringing a simple note of when you sleep and wake, so you can look together for underlying causes alongside prayer.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to quiet what is disturbing their rest, to cover their home with Your peace, and to grant them deep and refreshing sleep this morning and in the days ahead. Give them wisdom for what to do next and renew their strength. Amen.

Your longing for rest and for quiet in the night is one which the Lord himself understands, for sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose our bodies and therefore we naturally sleep, but it is not so. Not a man would close his eyes did not God put his fingers on his eyelids, did not the Almighty send a soft and balmy influence over his frame which lulled his thoughts into quiescence. So he giveth his beloved sleep.

You have asked for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire, and for rest to be given you this morning. Hear what the Saviour says, I will give you rest. It is a present rest, rest now, not rest after death only, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And it is perfect rest too, rest of the deepest, truest kind, rest which the world cannot give and which the world cannot take away. We who have believed do enter into rest. It is not a rest merely to hear of and to desire, but a rest into which believers have entered by trust in Christ.

Do not let anxiety unfit you for the very mercy you seek. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Christ and leave your troubles with him. Trust and you shall rest. This rest means contentment and peace of soul with God, a lying down gently at the cross, God's purpose to fulfill. There remains a rest unto the people of God, and he that has attained it has entered the royal bedchamber where he shall rest in peace.

As for fear of witchcraft and assignments against you, remember that no power can stand against our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. If you are in Christ you are kept in his hand, and no enchantment can separate you from his love. Seek not to command spirits in your own strength, but rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him. He is your keeper, and he shall be a wall of fire round about you.

Let us pray with you.

O Lord God Almighty, Father of mercies, we come in the name of Jesus Christ, thy Son, our only Saviour. Thou givest thy beloved sleep, and we ask thee to bestow it now upon this weary one. Quiet the restless thoughts, calm the troubled heart, and grant that fixedness of belief which is rest of mind. If it be thy will, still the noise that disturbs, and grant a season of quiet sleep. Set thy hedge about this thy child, keep watch over the dwelling, and let thy peace which passeth all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Teach us to learn of Christ, that we may find rest unto our souls, a deep rest and an abiding rest. We ask not for a sleep of sloth, but for that holy rest which fits us for thy service, for to labour for the Lord Jesus is itself rest, like birds that sleep upon the wing. Grant this mercy for Jesus sake. Amen.
