We join you in this powerful prayer for protection over your job, your work schedule, and your mind and heart, and we thank you for coming boldly before the throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We stand in agreement with you for that hedge of protection that you have prayed for, remembering how you have put a hedge around Job and his house and all that he has Job 1:10, and for that wall of fire around you, for the Lord Himself says I will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her Zechariah 2:5. We agree with you that the Lord will shut the mouths of lions on your behalf, just as He shut the lions' mouths for Daniel and he was not harmed Daniel 6:22, and that He will give His angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11.

We also lift up your mind and heart to the Lord, and we plead the blood of Jesus over you with thanksgiving, knowing that perfect peace comes when we bring our requests to God. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that fear and anxiety about your job and schedule would be replaced by that guarded peace.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, we ask You to place Your hedge of protection and Your wall of fire around their mind, their heart, their job, and their work schedule. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Shut the mouth of any who would rise against them and silence every accusation and every scheme of the enemy. Lord, You see the need for help and coverage at their workplace, and we ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way, for You are the God who will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert Isaiah 43:19. Provide the staff, the favor, and the stability that is needed, and secure their position according to Your will. Strengthen their mind and heart to not fear, for You have said Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Let them rest in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are faithful, who will establish and guard them from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We entrust their job and schedule into Your hands, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to remain diligent and faithful in your work, as serving the Lord and not men Colossians 3:23. The Lord sees your faithfulness and your need, and He is able to keep and provide for you. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and trust that He who has begun a good work in you will be faithful to sustain you.

It makes sense that this would weigh heavily on you. When coverage is thin and the schedule feels fragile, it is hard not to carry it home in your thoughts. We are asking God to guard your peace as you keep showing up faithfully each day.

One small step that sometimes helps is to get the need on paper. When you have a quiet moment, write down the specific shifts or hours where coverage is most needed and what kind of help would actually relieve the pressure. Having that clear, simple list can make a conversation with a supervisor or scheduler more concrete, and it can also help you see what is in your hands and what you need to entrust to God.

Father, we lift our brother to You. Place Your protection over their job and their schedule, guard their mind and heart with Your peace, and shut every mouth that would seek harm. Provide the help and coverage that is needed and open a way forward where it feels closed. Give wisdom for each conversation and rest in the waiting. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. You have asked for what every tried heart needs, a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over mind and heart, and for the Lord to keep your work and your daily calling in His own hands.

The Scripture gives you a sure word for this very trial. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." That perfect peace is not found in a quiet schedule or in easy circumstances, but in a mind stayed upon the Lord. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that blood has made a full atonement. There we have peace from lips that cannot lie and from a heart which cannot change. When the thoughts press and thronging duties crowd upon you, to do the will of Jesus and to trust Him with the outcome, this is rest.

You speak of your job as an appointed time, and rightly so. Job called this life an appointed time, a warfare. You did not appoint your own days, the Lord appointed them, and therefore you can have no regret about the appointment. He knows the work entrusted to you, the hours, the need for help and coverage, and the way where there seems to be no way. The Lord reigns and all things work together for good to them that love God. Even when the mouth of the lion seems open, our God is able to shut the lions mouth as He did for Daniel, and to keep you steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

We have also learned that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. Therefore cast your care upon Him. Tell the Lord about it in prayer, not only telling yourself about it. Indoor work must be done within the heart, where you say with David, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name."

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord God Almighty in Heaven, we plead the blood of Jesus Christ over this Your child, over mind and heart. Keep him in perfect peace as his mind is stayed on You. Set a hedge about him and be a wall of fire round about him. Shut the mouth of every adversary and still every accusation. In Your mercy protect the work You have given him to do, establish the work of his hands, bring in the help and coverage that is needed, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give wisdom to those who order his schedule, give strength for each appointed day, and let patience have its perfect work, that in all this he may sin not nor charge You foolishly, but worship and trust still. Renew his strength as You renewed Job, and cause his bow to abide in strength by Your hand. All the days of his appointed time let him wait till his change comes, knowing that You will bless Your people with peace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.
