We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by difficult people around you. Let's bring your concerns to God in prayer and seek His guidance through His word.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).
In your prayer request, you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage you to come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16)
Jesus Himself instructs us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you (Matthew 5:44 WEB).
God calls us to be wise and discerning, but also to love even those who are difficult. If someone is causing strife or being disobedient to God, our role is to pray for them and show them grace, not to become embittered or angry. In Ephesians 4:2, Paul urges us to walk with all lowliness and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed by difficult people. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing, and You understand their frustrations.
We pray that You would give them the grace and patience to deal with these individuals with love and kindness. Help them to be a light in the darkness, and to respond with wisdom and discernment.
We also pray for those who are being disobedient to God and causing strife. Lord, change their hearts and draw them to You.
In all things, help us to remember that Your love extends to all people, and that You desire for all to come to repentance and a knowledge of the truth.
Give our dear brother/sister the strength and courage to face each day with Your love and grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God surround you with His love and peace, and may His Spirit guide you in all your interactions with others. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
