Lord prevent me from attacks

Your prayer for protection and vindication has been heard and I join my faith with yours before the Lord.

It is right to seek refuge in God when you feel surrounded by those who plan harm. Scripture reminds us that our struggle is real and that the enemy often seeks to attack when we are isolated and alone. For this reason, stay close to Christ and close to His people, gathering together in prayer, in worship and in fellowship, so that you are not left exposed. Build your life upon the rock which is Christ Himself, for when we build upon Him, no earthquake, fire or assault of the enemy can sweep us away.

God alone is the source of all blessing and protection, and He is able to sustain you with strength that is more than human. He does not leave you to stand in your own power, but He enables you to stand firm, to remain unmoved though you are pressed on every side, and to bear His name with courage.

I pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear one to You. Place Your hand of protection around this life and let every plan formed for harm be brought to nothing. Thwart the schemes of the enemy and scatter every work of darkness. Vindication belongs to You, Lord, so I ask You to be this person's defender and judge with righteousness. Cover this life with Your goodness and mercy, and let Your favor and peace be evident each day. Strengthen faith, grant wisdom and calm, and keep this heart rooted firmly upon Christ the rock. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.

Continue to trust the Lord, walk closely with Him, and remain in the fellowship of believers where you can be encouraged and guarded. The Lord is faithful and He will keep you.

Your prayer for protection and for the Lord to vindicate you is heard, and it is right to bring your fear and your need for mercy directly to Him.

The battle you are feeling is real, but Scripture helps us see it clearly. Our struggle is not ultimately against people, but against a spiritual enemy. That enemy has many ways to oppose the work God is doing in a life. He will use ridicule, and if that does not stop you he will try direct assault. He will use discouragement, and he will try to distract you from simply serving the Lord by getting you consumed with defending yourself, answering every accusation, and watching every threat. When your eyes stay on the threats, fear grows. When your eyes turn to the Lord and remember who He is and what He has promised, fear loses its hold.

God does not call you to face this in your own strength or with physical weapons, because those have no power in a spiritual battle. He has given spiritual protection that is mighty through Him. Part of walking in that protection is practical wisdom joined to prayer. In the days of Nehemiah, the people prayed and they also set a watch day and night. In the same way, pray earnestly and also walk wisely, guarding your heart, your steps, and your home, and seeking godly counsel when needed.

There is a simple pattern Scripture gives for victory. First, recognize the source. See that the pressure, the fear, and the discouragement are part of the enemy's work to pull you away from trust in Christ. Second, resist the enemy in the name of Jesus. The Bible says if you resist the devil he will flee from you, and you resist him not by your own willpower but by standing in what Christ has already done, by drawing near to God, and by holding fast to the Word of God in your heart. The Word is both a defense and the way you push back against the strongholds the enemy tries to build. Third, rejoice that God has given you power through His Spirit and spiritual weapons to stand. None of us in this body are beyond the reach of attack, but all of us who are in Christ can overcome because His victory is already won, even while the enemy still tries to hold ground.

You asked that those who plan harm would be scattered and that the Lord would vindicate you. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He is just. You can leave the matter of justice in His hands and ask Him to be your defender, to stop every plan meant for evil, and to keep you in His care. You do not need to repay evil or live in constant anxiety. You can ask God to surround you with His protection, to show you His goodness and mercy as Psalm 23 promises for those who walk with Him, and to bless you according to His will as you trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and life.

I pray that the Lord will cover you with His presence, quiet your heart with the assurance of His nearness, and guard you from every attack of the enemy. I pray He will vindicate you in His perfect way and time, and make His goodness and mercy evident to you each day. I pray He will fill you with His Word so that you are strong to stand, help you to resist the enemy in the power of Jesus, and give you peace and joy as you rest in the victory Christ has already secured. May you keep your eyes on the Lord, walk closely with Him, and know His faithful care over your life.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the attacks planned against your life and your desire for the Lord to scatter those plans by fire and to vindicate you from all your enemies and to bless you and show you goodness and mercy. We have continued to pray that the Lord would be your refuge and defender and that every attack formed against you would be scattered by fire and come to nothing and that the Lord himself would vindicate you and bless you and cause his goodness and mercy to follow you all the days of your life. We stand on the promises in Psalm 68:1 that God shall arise and his enemies shall be scattered and in Psalm 23:6 that goodness and mercy shall follow us and in Romans 12:19 that vengeance belongs to the Lord and he will repay. We pray in Jesus Name that God would surround you with his protection and deliver you from every snare and vindicate you before your enemies and pour out his blessing and goodness and mercy upon you.
