Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our ### friend. We acknowledge that we are all sinners in need of your forgiveness and mercy. We thank you for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, through which we can find forgiveness and reconciliation with you.
Lord, we ask for your forgiveness for our ### friend. We pray that you would cleanse their heart and mind from all sins and wrongdoings. Help them to truly repent and turn away from their past mistakes. May they experience the freedom and peace that comes from receiving your forgiveness.
We are reminded of the words in 1 John 1:9, which says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We claim this promise for our ### friend, believing that you are faithful to forgive and cleanse them.
