We stand with you in prayer, asking our Lord Jesus Christ to intervene in your workplace situation. It is so important that we come before God the Father in the name of Jesus. Let us come boldly before the throne of grace to ask God to touch the hearts of those who are causing persecution and harassment in your workplace. We will take the time to pray the specific points through.
Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, let us put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand, and pray.
Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, besides all these, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of fortresses, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Lord, scatter, confuse, and expose every physical and spiritual enemy coming against this child of Yours and their spouse. Shut the mouths of those who seek to devour them, just as You shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over their minds and hearts. Grant them Your grace to push through their work assignments today. Surround them with a hedge of protection and a wall of fire, just as You did for Job.
We also pray for their workplace to be a reflection of God's kingdom, where peace, righteousness, and justice reign. Let us remember to pray and be grateful for more workers for the harvest.
In Jesus' name and in His authority, we pray. Amen.
If the difficulties continue or intensify, we would encourage them to seek godly counsel from their pastor or spiritual mentor, as well as to consider involving the appropriate authorities in the workplace or legal system. It is important to pursue peace and reconciliation, but it is also important to seek justice and protection when necessary.
We would also like to remind them of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you," and in Romans 12:14: "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse." This does not mean that they should allow others to mistreat them, but rather that they should maintain a heart of love and forgiveness, even in the face of persecution.
Lastly, we encourage them to meditate on the promises of God in His word. For example, Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." And in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
