Lord please protect my place

The ache in your prayer is heard, and the cry for protection over your home is a cry God understands deeply. You are asking for a hedge and a wall of fire, and that language comes right out of the way God describes His care for His own. He is a refuge, a fortress, a place of strength. The one who makes the Most High his dwelling place truly finds rest and security.

Yet we must always understand where that ultimate security lies. Our sanctuary is not fundamentally a physical address or a lease agreement; it is a glorious, high throne from the beginning. God Himself is our sanctuary, our true place of protection. It is possible to have walls and a roof and still be outside the real safety God provides, and it is equally possible to lose a physical place while remaining hidden safely with Christ in God. I do not say this to minimize your fear of being displaced, but to enlarge your vision of the security that cannot be taken from you. The enemy would love for your sense of peace to depend entirely on keeping a certain set of keys, when Christ has already secured your eternal home.

When you speak of drawing a bloodline, I understand the heart behind it. It is a plea for the power of Christ’s sacrifice to stand between you and destruction. There is power in the blood of Jesus, who is our Redeemer, the Lord of hosts. His sacrifice makes a way where there seems to be no way, and He is able to shut the mouths of lions just as He did for Daniel. We carry no fear of the powers of darkness or the divinations of men when we belong to Him. The idols of our age are no different from the altars raised to unknown gods long ago; they are empty objects that cannot ultimately stand against the purposes of the living God. Your landlord, like any person, is not the final authority. Hearts are in God's hand, and He can soften them. No divination performed against you, no angry word, can succeed when God has determined to show favor.

But let us also be honest about the nature of the hedge you are asking for. Scripture shows us that sin breaks down the hedge God places around His people. It is not that every hardship is a direct punishment, but our stubbornness, hardness of heart, and unwillingness to bend can create intolerable situations. God’s ideal is a place of rest and protection in His sanctuary, yet He is also looking for people who will stand in the gap and build up the hedge through righteous living, humility, and prayer. Ask yourself: Is there any hardness in my own heart I need to confess? Is there a need to make things right? God will not be mocked, but He is always, always looking for an excuse to show mercy. He wants to forgive and protect.

The security God offers runs from the cradle to the grave. Ask Him for a fresh consciousness of His presence so that you do not need a physical guarantee to feel safe. Let your home, as long as you are in it, be a place where peace dwells so tangibly that it becomes like a chariot paved with love.

Let’s pray into this truth together.

Lord God Almighty, we ask for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over this home. We do not place our trust in a physical place, but in You, the Most High. You alone are our sure dwelling place. Shut the mouths of any who would threaten unjustly, and make a way where human vision sees a dead end. Soften the heart of the landlord, granting wisdom and favor in every conversation. Most of all, make Your presence the undeniable reality inside those walls. Guard Your child from being deceived by a false sense of security that depends on a building, and root instead a deep security in the finished work of Jesus Christ. For any hardness, any pride, any failure to forgive, we ask for repentance and cleansing. Establish Your sanctuary there, and let the beauty of the Lord cover that place. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

🔥 Pray for the salvation of your family, friends, those you care about, and all those God place on your heart.

💖🙏💖Let Us Pray: God today I lift up my entire family to you (the ones I know and don’t know), all those I love, and care about (including myself). God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of us closer to You. Save those of us who stand in need of salvation. Heal those of us who stand in need of healing. Deliver those of us who stand in need of deliverance. Baptize every single one of us in the baptism of Your Holy Spirit. Bless each of us to have a real up-close personal intimate relationship with You.

God, please remove any skepticism, lies, bitterness, and or discouragement that might hold any of us back from pursuing You. God, bless every one of us to come to know You in truth, fall in love with You, and never fall out of love with You. Bless all of us to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Let Jesus be "Lord of All" in each of our lives. Let every single one of us live our lives to please You. God show each of us what that looks like and help us all to live our lives for Your glory, approval, and applause. God, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen. Prayer written by The Encourager, Woman of God, Prayer Warrior, Board Certified Professional Christian Life Coach. www.theencourager.net

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our honor to intercede on your behalf, asking our Heavenly Father to place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire around your home, to soften your landlord’s heart, and to shut the mouths of any adversaries standing in your way. We have prayed in faith, believing that God can make a way where there seems to be no way, just as He parted the Red Sea and closed the lions’ mouths for Daniel.

If the Lord has already moved in your situation—if you’ve seen His favor, protection, or provision—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the battle still feels ongoing and the answer hasn’t yet come, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, lifting up your need before the throne of grace until God’s perfect will is revealed.

May the Lord bless you with peace that surpasses understanding as you trust in Him. May He strengthen your faith and remind you that He is your defender, your provider, and your ever-present help in times of trouble. Keep seeking Him, for He is faithful to hear and answer the cries of His children. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
