Lord Please Help My Friend

Dear Lord, please help my friend who really needs you. He is severely depressed, suicidal, and alone. I wish I could help him but there is so little I can do since he is away at college and I cant see him. He has so few friends and none of them seem to know about his problems except me. He is my best friend and I am very concerned about him. All I want for him is to be happy . Because of his lot in life, he is so negative and hopeless, angry, bitter and hateful towards almost everyone and everything. He even seems to have lost his faith in you. Perhaps it's the work of Satan, as his sole purpose is to bring chaos, hatred, bitterness, hopelessness, and destruction to a person's life. I ask that you protect him and guard him against all evil, and grant him strength and hope. Bring him out of the darkness, and cure him of his depression. Restore his faith, restore his life. Please Dear God, I pray that you hear my plead, and take this matter into your hands. Thank you, in Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen.
